The app is the reason you will not say "Gutenberg S**cks"
I have used almost every trending page builder and blocks plugin throughout the last 3 years on my personal and commercial projects.
From the beginning of the year, I have extensively used Bricks, and kadence Blocks, generate press Blocks and tested more than 27 Block Plugins. But Cwickly never gets the chance. WP Tuts says in the video thumbnail " It's Criminally underrated", So I clicked it and saw the powerful feature of this block plugin. But still didn't get it.
FYI, I used it earlier but uninstalled it within 15 mins.
But when this hits on Appsumo again, I thought now let's give it another chance as Louis and the team was super active in the comments and reviews.
Man, I have to say, it's criminally underrated. It's so much more powerful than the other blocks and competes with Bricks Builder. It's very easy to use actually. The pre-made design libraries also come with great designs. The layouts in the premade libraries are not dummy designs with a "Meeehh" look. They are great in look.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut,
The interface is not straightforward. It's great looking and aesthetically pleasing. But some icons are not matching the function. Also, some important functions are hidden inside multiple clicks.
I would suggest adding text instead of just icons. Because I have to dig through the UI for 10 mins just to find the position.
Also, there are no video tutorials on how to use this UI or tips to use. Content creators are not making a video on these plugins as well. So I have to rely on the documentation. But visual learning is always the best. So, it would be awesome if the team can make videos on how to use the UI and the best practices.
Thank you so much for the awesome plugin and bring the deal again. I hope the team will keep continuing the support and development of the plugin. Because right now there are many great plugins from the developer. 2 years back only Elementor was a matured plugin. But when speed is concerned Gutenberg hits the door.
I can see a huge potential for Cwickly in the WordPress market. In addition thank you Louis for the help activating the license.
Thank you so much once again for the awesome plugin!!!

May 9, 2024Hello Mubin,
First of all, welcome aboard and thank you for taking the trouble to write about Cwicly and for your positive comments.
Deciding what to display and what to “hide” in tabs is a difficult decision and ultimately very personal. Cwicly has so much functionality that to keep things ordered it is necessary to have some kind of compromise which will not necessary suit everybody.
However, you will probably find that you become rapidly familiar with the way it is set out and hopefully discover the rationality behind it. However we are always ready for new suggestions.
The icon choice was, once again, in the interests of order. If you hover over each icon, the appropriate text will appear. You will also learn quite fast where properties are placed which will in turn give all sense to the use of icons.
Cwicly has undergone rapid development over the last few months and the video tutorials are in the process of being completely revised. I am sorry you find this frustrating.
In the meantime, I hope you can find what you need in the documentation which is constantly updated and is becoming more and more visual.
Thanks a lot and can't wait to see you on the inside!
Cheers,
