Disable Your Public Profile

Want to keep your profile private? Now you can turn off your public profile, even if you've shared the link before. Only you (the account owner) will have access. 🔒

Anonymous Video Requests

You can now request videos anonymously! Users can submit videos without needing to sign up for Dadan. 

(Our marketing team is not happy with this feature 🤭)

Webhooks for CRM Integration

You can now connect Dadan to your CRM with webhooks! Simply enable Developer Mode under "Accounts & Preferences," paste your webhook key, and start integrating. 🔗

Universal Player Page Settings

Want more control over your player pages? You can now globally customize settings for all videos—from hiding transcripts to turning off the sign-up button. Easy peasy! 🎬

Default player speed is now 1.25X ⚡️

Bug fixes

Tier 3 upgrade file size limit is fixed to 25GB

Copy link issue in Safari is fixed

It's been an incredible first week for us at dadan on Appsumo. Thank you so much for the love and reception. I never knew so many people from my team can switch to tacos as their fav food in a week 😉

I would like to address some of the common questions you have asked here.

Dadan's Sustainability

Link Solutions is the parent company of dadan. We are into Digital transformation services for the last 10+ years. We are based out of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with an offshore team in Jordan seating 50+ folks. Dadan is our first product which has been used by our clients for 2 years. We rebranded and launched it late 2024 to public. We have also raised pre seed for dadan. I don't want you to have any doubts about sustainability. 

Login issues

When we launched there was some issue with windows app login, this has been fixed right away. If you are still facing issues please reach out to us on support and we will guide you. 

Support

We are doing our best to support each one of you. You might have seen some delay during Friday and Saturday, since they are weekends here. As some of you might have noticed, our support team instead of sharing guides and generic replies try to sort out the issue by connecting with you on a call. We are expanding our capability here and this will be even better going forward.

 Dadan Insider

We are launching a Facebook community for dadan this week. Every customer will receive an invite, please do join the group. We have received multiple feature requests and this community will play a role in prioritizing the feature releases. This includes a macOS app, an Advanced editor, multilingual support, etc.

 I may end here but then you will be furious if I don't share about what you have MOST requested over last one week. 

CNAME - we are adding the cname feature to tier 3 users. You will get your custom brand name function.

Bandwidth - The current bandwidth limit is 100GB per month per user. But moving forward, we are increasing it for tier 2 and tier 3 as follows.

Tier 2 - 50GB per week per video

Tier 3 - 100GB per week per video
