Lack of responsiveness and Unfulfilled Promises
Two months ago, i would've given this 5 stars. Now, I feel like I finally know what people are talking about when they are weary over appsumo deals that turn sour.
I received no response to an inquiry sent over a month ago asking about their changes. You can tell from other comments, this is the norm, not an exception. I believe Daftpage is or at least functions as a one-man side project. There isn't a lot of investment demonstrated here. One of the main attractions promised (and is still advertised on this deal) is its ability to convert Notion templates into web pages. This was one of the major reasons why i purchased and this feature was abandoned. Furthermore, the editor that was attractive to me at the outset was also downgraded to a simplified version I like significantly less. So I'm stuck with a product with less use-cases than planned and a road map I can't have faith in. I was the few that picked up the product when it was marketed for $159 and it's a slap in the face to see it a month later for $69.
Two stars only because of the unlimited nature of the deal for the pricepoint. However the fluctuations in the price asked ($69->$159- and now $69), and the product shifts raises flags for me that this project will be around for the longterm.
