A: Hi!

You can use API Network credits towards requests for partnered APIs. If you make requests with your own API key, you don't need the API Network credits (requests will cost you 0 Network credits in that case).

So there are several differences between Databar & Clay, here are some of them:
1. We have many features and connectors that Clay doesn't (and they too have connectors that we don't currently support), so depending on what APIs & data you need, you might want to use one or the other
2. Databar offers embeddable visualizations for tables (if you need to visualize your data)
3. Databar scales really well so you can run many more enrichments much faster
4. Our pricing is different and I think more reasonable with a more pay-for-what-you-use approach

We've actually been around for just as long as Clay has, and many features appeared on Databar a. long time ago, but we've been bootstrapping our product & are now building up our tool. You will see many differences between Clay & us show up in the next 3-4 months, we have a pretty heavy & exciting roadmap which we're already executing on!

One thing I should mention is we haven't released our generalized web scraper yet (if you're looking for a Claygent-type feature), but we are releasing it in the next month or so.
