As someone that puts slide decks together for a living and teaches how to create profitable presentations naturally, I was very interested in taking a deeper look at this platform.

Pros:
Love the ability to see how my slide deck will look and feel in different colors
Love the ability to collaborate and provide voice feedback on my students slide decks
Love the ability to add notes for both myself and students as this will support the more advanced features I teach them when it comes to pitching.
Appreciate the time it saves with the templates but also see this is limiting which I will mention the cons and summary.
Great value as a deal on appsumo and the stacking options are really good. I am fully stacked and would get more if I could.

Cons:
We need to be able to export to powerpoint and ideally import from powerpoint because we want to use these decks for webinars.
I get the save 8 hours of designing and focus on your content and rehearsing. But not at the expense of having the ability to create a really rocking looking design that goes beyond what is currently available.
I see this service as a type of landing page builder but for presentations. Have the ability to have some customization such as making an image 80% of the slide and having a banner background to frame a title would make this product truly something special.
A possible middle ground for the decktopus team is making say 4-8 base custom slide deck (customizations) combine this with the abilities that already exist in the platform to see multiple colors and layout options and BOOM you have a possible world-class platform.
As it stands if I was paying a monthly fee I would be giving Decktopus 3 stars. Because its on lifetime and because they are growing with what seems a really responsive caring support team they get my 5-star vote.
