AppSumo is the biggest cheater and fraudster, soon they will be deserted as the old time desktop apps will be back, the cloud-based apps and listing platforms like App Sumo must die soon.

AppSumo has nothing to do with Buyers, they happily put their 30% commission and enjoy.

What I find truly frustrating is that I based an art pipeline around this software after buying Tier 1 and did tests, I got the results I needed far beyond my expectation. So I then went to Tier 2 and started developing my design document around this software. Yes, their default avatars are pretty terrible, but once you figure out how their system works you can import your own and get results far better than Synthesys! The fact the custom avatar was so easy to use and didn't charge something ridiculous like $300 each that required a human (supposedly) to "adjust it" on their end made this gold. I wish I could just run the software locally, then I could finish my project. As it is, since my design document's dialogue sequences isn't finalized I'm screwed. I have to start over. And Synthesys just isn't a good substitute for what this software did, plus they don't really allow for custom content. I HATE SAAS. I really really really do. It's quite possibly the worst thing to happen to software in the history of computing and crap like this is why. You find a 3rd party solution, master its ins and out and right before you can dive in and utilize it for something profitable, POOF the servers are gone and there's no viable alternative out there to replace it. Man... This is such a disappointment.
