Great concept terrible implementation
Their stock video people are bad and it looks terrible when you have them speak. The mouth doesn't even open some times. I also tested with stock video of actors that follows their guidelines and none of them look good, they looked like I put the actor in a mirror fun house, it was terrible.
The other platforms I've seen require a long video (not 1 min or less) and have the person speak to a specific script that gets all of the key body-language and facial expressions to go along with specific words. Right now when you upload they say don't move the face and don't have the person speak - which is why the mouth is sooo bad.
Conceptually this is a great tool, in reality they have a HUGE way to go.
I'm sure they will improve, but I don't see it getting good enough quick enough for it to be of value.

Sorry about your experience so far with DeepWord. The issue you described with lips not opening is fairly uncommon and is a result of specific combinations of certain video actors with certain voices. We are working to test all these permutations for all variations of video actors and expect to fix or remove these actor/voice combos by next week. Also, most stock video unfortunately does not follow our guidelines. If it did, we would likely include them as actors. While we say that lips should not be moving, we do encourage the actor to make hand gestures, moderate head movements, and facial expressions as if they were talking.
