First, I'll say that the form builder itself isn't bad. I was able to create my forms and I felt that this was a promising product. However, there are some bugs and you won't get any help or support in any kind of timely fashion. My header images don't display because the link they use to serve the uploaded image returns a SSL error in browser. I contacted support who told me I was wrong about the SSL error and that it was somehow using the wrong url. They supplied two urls--the wrong one and the supposed right one (NOTE: as the user, I have no control over those urls. They're inserted by the system). Both URLs shared by support return insecure warnings in browser with a SSL error. I've replied twice and have heard nothing further from support in 2 days. I have doubts that this product will be stable long term and if it isn't, don't count on support helping you out. Ultimately, I'll end up paying more for another product that I can actually rely on.

I needed to create onboarding forms for clients to gather files and information, and ChatGPT said to purchase a monthly subscription with typeform. After I had finished laughing at the suggestion of a monthly subscription, I loaded AppSumo and searched for form builders and found Deftform. It is perfect! It took me about 20 minutes to set up my form, add my logo and domain and have it ready to share with clients. I was looking at the form thinking no way it can be that easy. It is super intuitive and just works without needing to touch a tutorial. This is a real gem and there are probably so many more things you can do with it. Thanks so much for bringing this to AppSumo, it's just great!

I took the plunge and ordered Deftform. It looks much better than the Notion form I developed. Deftform includes AI, so I was able to simply copy my questions from the Notion form into the Deftform AI field, which then created the client feedback form for me. After that, I added my branding--colors and image header. Deftform also allows for easily breaking up a form into pages, so respondents see only a few questions at a time. You can also create conditional logic, so when a respondent answers one question in a certain way, another question appears. Really good deal.-

We replaced a bunch of WordPress submission forms across a ton of clients sites with Deftform, we had noticed that the original WordPress forms (with file uploads) seemed to be causing some strain on that specific shared hosting account. With the ability to have unlimited storage, everything works great and you can pretty much customize the forms to match your website exactly down to fonts and color schemes.

They also have had frequent updates as shown in the change-log since purchasing, and the new ability to track partial submissions seems really cool as well. All in all for the price and the features provided we feel that we got a great deal on AppSumo.
