My review would normally be a 5* because the app is great. But, I haven't been able to download any images for over 1 week! I think it might be 2 weeks actually. It's frustrating creating some work and then not being able to do anything with it.
Their online chat / help has disappeared too.
I hope this isn't forecasting another deal going bankrupt. That would be my fourth.
Maybe the corona virus is affecting the employees, although I would think they could do their work from home. Anyways, I hope it gets fixed soon. I really like the app.
I bought 2 codes from appsumo with the understanding the monthly credits were able to be used across the entire platform. However when attempting to use them, i'm told by tech support that the credits cannot be used towards their mini video feature. It's not very developed, doesn't allow music or sounds to be added and they want $20?! for a 1080p download? Dirty, just dirty. Those monthly credits should work across the whole platform.

I couldn't disagree more. We've made every effort to make it clear that video is not included in the offer. We tweaked and re-tweaked the sales copy, we reponded to any reviews mentioning video to clarify that video is not included, we answered tons of questions regarding the video in the Q & A section again clarifying that video was not included
It just wasn’t viable for us to include video in our Pro subscription or a lifetime deal, due to the high costs associated with both licensing the footage and the individual cost from AWS each time a user downloads a video they created in Design Wizard.
Our monthly subscriptions (Pro and Expert) give you credits towards images and image templates. Standard and High Definition videos and video templates are not included in either of our subscription plans.
This lifetime deal is for our Pro subscription, which means you will get 60 design credits each month and you have full access to our library of 1 million plus premium images and 25,000 professionally designed templates.
It's important to mention that some of our competitors ran deals on Appsumo and did not include access to their image and template libraries, in other words, they just gave you their tool, if you wanted to download your design, you would needed to pay them for it despite having the Appsumo deal.
We're giving you full access to our library and 60 credits to download your designs each month.
Other competitors of ours put a time limit on the license when you purchase it, with one of the biggest players in the industry for example you pay a monthly fee for a team function ($12.95) but you have to buy premium images separately and unless you buy the multi use license each time ($10 per design) your design is only licensed for 24 hours and you would need to buy it again if you want to use it again (or shell out for the multi-use license) with those guys
And with this appsumo deal, you are getting 60 designs per month including the premium content, every month for a lifetime for just $49.
It's a no-brainer of a deal and SO MUCH VALUE! If you think it's a bad deal because video is not included then you are seriously missing out on the true value of the deal
It's worth mentioning that we do have some free video templates in the app that all users have access to.

I bought and stacked when I tried the free version.
At first it was lagging and there were some bugs. But the lagging has gone away since I asked customer service about it. The bug was noticed today and i was given a an alternative solution to it till they fix it completely. The service is really fast and they really try to get through your problem with care and respect :)
I love canva but it gets way too expensive real quick. I too thought at the beginning video was included but even without video it it's still a great tool too.
One thing that I would like to have added is more artboards. For what I do i really need more than the standard five artboard. Canva gives you 30 before you cap out. I thought 4 tacos would be fine but my problems were heard and taken care of. Plus in the long term it surely would be a 5 taco tool. So I gave it a 5/5 now :)
