I run a psychological consultancy since 2009, and during this whole period, I have been using QuickBooks Online since it was recommended to me by my accountant.

During this period, I have seen many accounting software that came by but change is always apprehensive because of all the data and records stored inside the system. Especially all the receipts of expenses I have uploaded over the years. The thing about financial records is... in good days it doesn't really matters. But when the shit hits the fan, pardon the language, that's when everything really matters.

So with that thinking, I have been "stuck" with QBO even though I have more negative things than positive things to say about the solution for my business.

Because of this AppSumo deal, and reading all the positive reviews on this product, I bite the bullet and took the plunge and signed up for it. It has been a week since I activated my account and every bit of it has been great.

I love that when I got Books, it came with People and Sales modules. In my business of Consultancy and Coaching, I don't need to use the inventory management module so I will omit that part. Migrating data from QBO into Deskera has been a breeze so far. It is connected, and with a click of button, all my Chart of Accounts, Contact list and Opening balance are imported into Deskera. Interface in Deskera is different from QBO, I say QBO is more intuitive, but Deskera is more comprehensive. I believe it is a matter of getting used to. CRM Module is also very useful for my use case, where I am able to capture all the open deals and be more focused in channeling my attention and getting a dashboard view of my pipeline.

Overall, if you are a Consultant or Coach with a team of Virtual Assistants working remotely, Deskera is perfect for you. It links with Paypal, Stripe and the Sales (CRM) Module is a really useful tool to get an overview of the business and pipeline. I can't speak for other industries but Consultant & Coaches with team of VA, this is awesome value for the price you are paying! Oh, and the Support is AMAAAAZING! I am wowed so far. Let's hope it stays this way.
