I think this will be the most valuable deal I've gotten on AppSumo ever.

Even if your current tools for business management are serving you well and you know it will be a pain to switch, consider grabbing this anyway!!

Great to see:
- They're doing a ton of stuff right already, and they're listening/adding/improving fast.
- They have solid funding so this AppSumo deal is more about momentum than funding.
- It seems clear that they're going to build a ton of momentum and popularity in the US and many other markets.
- Really solid and useful tools that actually stand a chance to cover the majority of my business management needs in a way that integrates my key data in a suite of powerful tools that can actually save me a ton of time and make it much easier to implement some powerful processes within my business...tons of things I'd love to do, but haven't gotten done yet.
- A team that genuinely seems to get the idea of valuing early adopters and building trust, community, and loyalty.
- Solid technology stack based on high-performing code and infrastructure...and it shows.

My reservations:
- This is a big decision...to trust a major part of my business to a single SaaS partner. I'll continue looking closely at how they manage security, compliance, etc. And I'll keep making sure that I have practical ways to get my data and contacts out if I decide to. Looks encouraging so far, but still a big decision.
- I'm not looking forward to the time commitment to setup a new system and move things over from my current solutions. What helps is the very real time savings (and $$ savings) I can get from having a better suite of tools.

I remember several years ago adopting a very early Xero. There was lots of doubt among "serious" business accountants but the Xero team kept building a good tool with a great UI/UX and they exploded in popularity. Now they're a favorite among accountants. I think we'll be looking back in a few short years remembering Deskera before they became the hottest SMB suite on the market...I think they'll be disrupting a ton of our favorite SaaS offerings. Fun times.

I already have a long list of tools I'm considering for the chopping block, but honestly, I will think this was a great deal even if I only end up using it for the Books features. I think I'll be adopting a lot more than that, though.
