Q: Feature Clarification – AppSumo Purchase (3 Codes)

Hello Desklog Support Team,

I purchased Desklog.io via AppSumo and activated three codes. I’m evaluating it for a small IT support company managing a day-to-day support team.

Our work is not project-based. We use a ticketing system but also need to assign and track recurring daily maintenance tasks (e.g., daily backup checks for specific customers) to individual employees.

Could you confirm if Desklog supports:

Assigning daily/recurring tasks without using projects

Time tracking for routine support tasks

Application usage tracking

URL/website tracking

Idle time tracking

Visibility into how employee time is spent during the workday

These features are essential for us. If not supported, I may need to request a refund under AppSumo terms.

To clarify, the AppSumo plan comes with limited features and does not include Enterprise-level capabilities. While Desklog allows you to create and assign tasks (including recurring tasks) and track time spent on routine support activities, project-based structuring is part of the core workflow.

Under the AppSumo plan, application usage tracking, URL/website tracking, and Insights are not supported. However, idle time tracking and basic visibility into employee work hours and task time, and related reports are available.

If you’d like to explore advanced tracking and Enterprise features, you can raise a support ticket directly from your Desklog Admin Dashboard, and our team will guide you through the steps for possible upgrade options.
