Q: How will LTD access be handled if future major platform versions or rebuilds are introduced?

I’m a previous Tier 3 AppSumo customer from the original Digital First AI deal.

V1 saw limited development and access issues, while DFIRST (V2) is where ongoing functionality is concentrated.

Original deal:
https://appsumo.com/products/digital-first-ai/
Included Lifetime access + All future Expert Plan updates.

My Tier 3 had 2,500 monthly credits (similar to today’s DFIRST Advanced 3,000), but under the new configuration I was assigned 600 credits, between the current Free and Starter tiers.

In my experience, support responses regarding LTD alignment have at times taken weeks or gone unanswered.

Could you clarify:

How LTD access would be handled if future major platform versions are introduced, given how quickly AI evolves?

Would LTD users be included in actively developed environments, or remain tied to the purchased version?

A: Hey — first, LTD users are not meant to be left behind on inactive versions. The intention is to migrate original purchases into the actively developed environment. For those who bought Digital First AI via AppSumo, we’ve set up this form to organize the transition: https://tally.so/r/wvK4Pg

That said, when a major pivot happens, everything shifts — structure, features, plans, infrastructure costs, and the AI model ecosystem itself. So it’s not a 1:1 replication of the old tiers. For example, tactics and funnels no longer exist in the same way, and credit logic works completely differently. Assigned plans are aligned to the capabilities and economics of the new system.

Any future major versions will live inside the DFIRST environment, meaning you’ll continue to have access to a maintained, evolving platform.

With the version you purchase, you’ll receive all future updates within your plan category (Starter Tier 1, Advanced Tiers 2–4, Pro Tiers 5–6).

Thanks for the clarification.

From a user perspective, the core outcome is still similar — supporting marketing strategy through structured workflows, even if funnels are now whiteboards or agentic workflows.

Just to confirm for both existing LTD users and new buyers: when LTD plans are migrated into future DFIRST versions, will their effective usage scope be preserved?
