Q: Custom UI Layout Support
Hi have several questions:
1. How is the UI built for a Flutter app? Is it built using JSON/dart native performance or it is rendering translation?
2. Is there MCP available, Is it AI-aware, so that AI can generate or modify the layout??
3. If my target platforms are Android and iOS, will the Flutter app support the web as well when using Digia SDUI?
4. I need clear Monthly installs term here, is it based on Playstore/AppStore install? all app will have same Monthly installs? if we update UI layout/backend api from Digia studio it is not considered as Monthly installs, correct?

Let me answer in the same order
1) As we are server driven, config is fetched, and our native flutter sdk https://pub.dev/packages/digia_ui, understands the config items and then does the rendering natively only.
2) MCP is in roadmap, though we already have an AI Ui builder in place for folks to build UI using AI
3) If your target is Android/IOS , digia will do a good job of enabling SDUI flows, though for web we are not the ideal solution as web inherently is server driven unlike native.
4)Installs are counted once changes are made in digia studio( as much as you need) you finalize them, push them on github( on addon), test them in preview apps, and create a version, update on stage and then release on Production for these changes to be released to your customers, customer opens the app next time, and digia updates itself silently in background once it does successfully this gets counted as 1 install for the month.
So in out starting tier, 25K means across your account across all the apps you get 25K installs to be made aka. successful changes to be downloaded by customers
this is NOT linked to playstore app store install
Scenarios:
1) Play Store/App Store App has 1000 Install in total, so 25K gives you minium 25 releases for all of your customers to instal these changes in a month, some might NOT open the app for the month, those dont get counted.
2) Playstore /App store count is 100k, if you are on minimum tier, you will exhaust the 25k month limit by reaching 25% of your user base in first release only, so you might need an addon to successfully deliver releases to your customers
Happy to help with install/addon combo needed for the scenario you are looking at.
Thanks for the response, Anupam. Just sharing some thoughts: I think the monthly install limit be a barrier for many users if update is counted, unless they're only targeting a very specific local market. For broader use cases, the current pricing terms may be a dealbreaker for many AppSumo customers.
You might consider increasing the monthly install limit, especially for early adopters.
Point taken Genply
Being a SDUI platfrom cover value proposition we unlock is the how the real customers dont have to install a change made by devs
hence pricing is pegged on the core value only.
also based on what we have seen till now 25K a month is decent given
multiple folks can do unlimited number of changes, test them in various mode before releasing, and user only gets one install
