Q: Hi Pavel and Directual Team, Welcome to AppSumo.
I got some questions below. Kindly, help to answer. Thank you.
Q1.) Can Directual do Parabola.io automations? Is Parabola.io operations the same as the directual backend-end scenarios?
Q2.) What does 5 apps (Tier 2), up to at one time mean? Does it mean this deal is limited to building 5 apps? Or can an app be deleted and can create a new one as long as it is within the mentioned limit like 5 apps?
Q3.) Can On-demand resources be paused/turned-off at a certain threshold or limit? For example, start on-demand threshold at 25,000 post then pause/stop at hard limit of 50,000 post? Use case is to prevent app usage abuse or attacks.
Q4.) The developers will be per app? For example, 5 developers can build an app? Or 1 developer per app?
Q5.) What types of operation can Directual do? For example, can it do some statistical computation like moving averages similar to a spreadsheet?
Q6.) What is a Pro-sandbox plan? Is that for sandbox use only, or it is for production use and be connected to a custom domain?

Q1.) Parabola is more about dealing with batches of data. Directual scenarios are more like Event-processing engine.
Q2.) AppSumo tiers includes slots for Pro-sandbox-plan apps. You can have as many Free apps, as you want, or upgrade them to any App-plans, or delete apps (so you'll have a free Pro-sandbox slot)
Q3.) Of course, you can turn-off on-demand consumption.
Q4.) There can be 5 developers in a team, all of them working on the same or separate apps. Admin of the team can configure visibility rights
Q5.) Typical operation is reading an object, performing some conditionals, editing an object, etc. Sure, you can apply computations using JavaScript.
Q6.) Pro-sandbox plan: https://readme.directual.com/pricing-and-billing/pricing-plans It is perfect for developing an app, before going to prod. Custom domain for Directual-based front-end isn't included into Sandbox plan, but if you use Directual as a backend and create a custom front-end, of course you can use any domain.
