Great idea, but needs a lot of finishing touches
I really love the idea of having a dedicated platform to host, distribute and manage all your creative content. We are considering using it for podcast hosting, and maybe video hosting as well (it is on the road map but disctopia did not release video functionality yet).
Being able to also have another revenue stream with merchandise for supporters, it's a great idea. We still have to try it out, but sounds promising if they do worldwide shipping and manage all the hassle and the logistics of it.
What I would like to see:
- greater audience (if you want to host music or podcasts exclusively on disctopia, in order to be able to have revenue from disctopia subscribers, the platform needs a lot of users); all the podcasts on the platform that I have checked out had 0 views and 0 followers, this does not seem right; music category content had more activity and views; this tells me that the platform is mostly used by musicians, creators in the music industry and music enthusiasts
- faster load times (sometimes it takes some time to load up different pages after login)
- really looking forward to video hosting (imagine private video shows, creative content, documentaries, all the possibilities)
- native integration with biggest/most popular podcast distribution platforms, so that new podcasts created on disctopia can be pushed and published automatically on all of them
- more detail to UI and design (ex: very bad contrast on merch products, looks very basic and hardly readable)
Hope to see some great improvements, because it's a good product idea that you have!

Thanks for your review, and we are working hard every day to improve the platform - as mentioned are upgrading our servers to handle the new requests and videos - Also, we are working on getting new users every day so that it makes exclusive content worth it - Last but not least we are upgrading the entire merch system for a better customer experience.
