It seems that Distribute.so is in its early stages, but the potential is remarkable, and I can clearly see and admire the vision behind it. The user experience is impressive, although some features are still lacking, and it will only truly succeed when email verification is available for gated content. I've witnessed many deals in the past come to naught.. even for good looking products like this one. But I decided to purchase 4 maximum tiers because I have confidence in Mr. Mewborn. I hope he has the determination to see this project through to success. (By the way, what's up with your blog? All posts were published on the same day... interesting.) Overall, I really like this... 5 stars with a touch of optimism and hopeful anticipation.

Product Review: Promising, But Still Useless

I recently had the opportunity to try out the product, and while it shows promise, I can't help but feel disappointed by its limitations. The main issue I encountered was the ease with which users can unlock content using fake emails. This poses a significant problem as it undermines the purpose of the product.

To address this concern, I strongly recommend implementing an email verification service before allowing users to unlock the content. By doing so, you can ensure that only legitimate email addresses are used, thus enhancing the product's effectiveness and preventing misuse.

Overall, despite its potential, I believe that the product currently falls short of its intended purpose. Implementing an email verification service would greatly enhance its functionality and make it a more reliable solution.

Excellent product. One of the best I've ever purchased from Appsumo. It's worth every dollar invested. Congratulations to the developers. It still has a lot of potential to be even better. We count on paying attention to this growth and improvements.

Decent and simple product that's largely a Notion direct copycat but with the ability to get analytics on who's viewed a page, along with gating content/capturing leads.

If you have a use case and need something simple, this could be a good option. I'd like to see it have more direct integrations (outside of Zapier) along with more pre-built templates. The current templates are just text frameworks, telling you how to structure the pages.

Overall, interesting concept but I didn't really have a use case that it could do that other tools couldn't do for my needs.

It is said that distribute is here to produce lead magnets. Fast. Like really fast. And it works just like that.

But you know. Yes, it’s is simple and kinda cool, but it needs some improvements. Like zapier alternative (I suggest Albato.com as they were here at AppSumo and they have a tool to integrate any app with OpenApi). It needs iframe. Now it has iframe for a calendly, but WHY can’t I just use iframe to embed TidyCal or Marquiz or something else? Yes, simple, neat, with a good design. But really, embedding is a must have.

Still. The product is good. I see Andy thought he would be welcomed by a bigger amount of sumolings, but you get what you get. The deal is still good. And I understand that you can’t give huge discounts so product can stay sustainable, but this platform is just about it. You give a pretty good damn deal and get money for a further development and… distribution. This deal is good, but not a pretty damn good.

I would say in my opinion tiers are not balanced. I mean, there are sumolings segments as a clients. There are some solopreneurs, some small businesses, medium large and agencies. And as I see in comments and questions of other deals these sumolings with agencies together combine into an are huge slice of buyers. So not having a tier for them from a potentially good product would be strange.

And the amount of managers and CEO from a middle and big businesses is not so big here. And the product presentation is slick, it looks really cool and juicy, but it’s not so obvious where’s this product’s niche. Is it a cut readymag? Or is it a strange Canva for websites?

I do believe this product will evolve and the thing that the niche is not so obvious could tell me that Andy sees something others don’t. But you know this anecdote about Henry Ford? Like when he has started selling cars he told people it’s an iron horse? Maybe this could work here too.

But who I am to tell all of this! The product is great and I do believe in it. Thanks for sharing Distribute with sumolings! And have a great journey with it!
