A: Right now Zoom doesn't support breakout rooms. I have taken note of it internally. I'm really curious to know what is your use case here? How do you plan to use it?

I'll use this input to build the feature for breakout rooms support.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for your feedback @nitesh.

I work as a project manager in a non-profit based in china with about 10 departments distributed over 2 regions. Dive seems like just what we have been looking for to improve the efficiency and productivity of our meetings! But sometimes before voting or finalizing a decision, we have a culture of creating breakout rooms within zoom so different regional teams or departments can decide on something separately first(like whether they can meet a deadline or nominations for new people to join in their department during hiring interviews for a particular position etc).
This practice makes team members feel like they are a part of the organization's decision-making process while also making people feel listened to Because decisions can sometimes be made at multiple levels.

it would be really cool that if dive could allow for a breakout room to be made within zoom, where cohosts/admins(departmental heads) in the breakout room could perhaps facilitate polls and stuff without needing to be in the same room as everyone else. all at the same time.

It would take it to the next level if one" superadmin" eg the main host/chairperson, could also see the results and interactions of what is happening in the breakout rooms in order to combine results or opinions etc.

I think these use cases could also be great for B2B sales as well.

eg, if I am selling to another business and multiple stakeholders are involved and a decision needs to be made but some of the stakeholders don't agree. we could avoid looking waiting periods if a breakout room could be created for the stakeholders or project donors etc so that they can come to a united consensus by easily voting and chairing their mini short meeting etc

I don't know if you got my point, I am not the best at putting ideas across in writing, however if you would like to know more I really wouldn't mind talking more over email or zoom to let you know what I mean , thanks
