Q: What is a CMS item?

Can it apply for a full article on a page? Or each article with the number of fields (rich text, publish day, etc) will include several CMS items?

A: Hey, let's say you are building a blog; 1 blog post = 1 CMS item.

Rich text, publish day, title, author, etc.. are called fields, and you can have an unlimited number of fields.
