Divhunt is my new favorite web builder and host

The work of our small agency includes website development and hosting. Almost all of our projects are in WordPress, and some are and Wix. Recently, Divhunt caught my eye as a potential alternative for certain projects. I am so glad I found Divhunt. The builder is very intuitive and enjoyable to use. The features and functionality are impressive, and I really like all that's included in the hosting plans. The Divhunt team is very engaged in the Discord community, responding quickly to users' needs. The tutorials on the YouTube channel are very helpful. Everything that the Divhunt team is doing is progressive and ingenious. Thank you, Divhunt, for all of your great work!

Not usable for non developers!

This tool looked promising to me as an alternative to other website builders, so I took a chance. However, it was not easy for me to pick up at all. The YouTube tutorials didn't make sense to me and seemed better tailored to developers who speak technical lingo. I invested two weeks trying to get a site working, but their CMS did not work for me, even for a simple blog. This was despite following all their video instructions to connect the pages to the CMS. I even bought a premium template, thinking this would solve the issue, but unfortunately, I was very wrong. That template too was unusable for me. I made a big mistake purchasing this tool as I wasted my money here. They advertised this tool as "Build websites. Faster. Better. No code." Unfortunately, that's pretty far from the truth, as I've already spent two weeks trying to build a website that doesn't work.

Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback! I understand that Divhunt may seem a bit challenging at first, but it’s worth the effort. Our platform is designed to deliver high-quality websites that stand out compared to simpler tools like Wix, Framer and similar.

At the current stage, its true that Divhunt is slighltly targeting more advanced users. Although we’re planning to create a seperate version of...

Great Platform with a LOT of Potential

I have been using Divhunt for almost a year and I can honestly say that the team has made a tremendous amount of progress over that time. They are constantly building new feature, fixing issues, and most importantly listening to the community!

The platform is fairly easy to pick up and their built-in CMS is getting better every day!

If you are a small web development agency and don't want to worry about hosting fees, security, and constantly having to maintain your WordPress sites, do yourself a favor and check out the platform.

You can use only the visual builder, and with their numerous plugins, you can build something amazing. When you add in some carefully constructed JavaScript code, the possibilities of what you can build expand exponentially!

Simple for developers maybe?

I got this due to the "effortless" piece. Maybe it is effortless for developers. I have built a few webpages with WordPress. This is far more complicated than that. Even their explainer videos on YouTube use lingo that someone without developer knowledge wouldn't know, so I couldn't follow along with them as I didn't know what they were talking about half the time! After trying with this for several hours, I decided to complete my website on WordPress. Still trying to decide whether to get a refund or give it another go. It really seems like this is made to make developer's lives easier, as it is not simple at all for someone who has only self-learned WordPress and doesn't have any web development training.

Good for Power Users, Not for Newbies

Not every product needs to be for newbies. We do need apps and services that can appeal to a more advanced user base. And that is DivHunt. This is a tool that will be great for a developer that wants precise control over layout without having to tinker directly with CSS and code. DivHunt gives you that control over your website design - every single block and div. The downside is that it's way overwhelming and not intuitive for a newbie. It's not really a quick plug and play solution, even though templates are available.

I think they might be able to expand more if they created a basic user interface that just allowed you to do quick layouts and then saved the micromanaging div interface for advanced users. Also, this is not the tool to use if you want to do a lot of blogging. But this is certainly a great tool if you want to create a microsite or landing page with very specific design parameters.
