Awesome
I believe the negative reviews are unfair and most of them left by people who think they can just copy everything 1:1 with complex js animations and everything, which is ridiculous! This extension is awesome. No one who actually uses it is going to copy full web pages. What makes it so awesome is allowing to copy specific elements! Works great. Thank you!!
Edit: I especially like how you can open it right inside Div Magic Studio. That way, I don’t have to copy paste it into some html viewer. However, i think you should make this option more obvious that just the little icon. Add a second button at the bottom. The copy button and a “open in div studio” button

Just what I was looking for without knowing it
I am building a bunch of new websites on the blazing-fast, simple-but-attractive, no-fuss Google Sheets-powered website platform Sheetany. There are no drag-and-drop boxes, but there are HTML, CSS and JavaScript editors to help boost the look and feel in certain areas where you need it.
I know only a bit of HTML and can tumble forward past the goal line sometimes with CSS, and, with JavaScript, I'm an infant. I am so glad I stumbled on DivMagic. This powerful tool lets me copy pieces of or whole pages so I can play around with code and pop in some things on my Sheetany websites.
In looking at the code of some things, I really realize how low my skill level is. Let's just say DivMagic came along at the right time for me as a way to inject some color and pop into blog posts, pages, stores and more.
One thing that tripped me up is the lack of an animated Copy button on Firefox, at least. I had to wait 10 to 15 seconds for code to be captured and presented. All the while, I'm thinking: "Did that button just get pressed? I didn't see any movement."
Looking forward to leaning on DivMagic to make some magic across all my website adventures!
Thank you for the great tool!

Not ready for prime time
I didn't find this program helpful. The output was not, at all, client ready. I found it was easier to just click on "inspect".
BrianUSA
Feb 19, 2025Hello Inovox. The "inspect" mode is very different than DivMagic's purpose. "Inspect" simply copies the existing code on the page as it is and gives you a very long HTML code where you'd need all CSS and JS dependencies to fully render that element.
DivMagic's purpose is to re-create an existing element to give you compact and stand-alone code that you can further customize for your own website....

Waste of time
I tried for weeks in many websites, modern websites with a design similar to MagicUI. And also simple designs, but this tool never worked well. The result where horrendous. A waste of time.
BrianUSA
Jan 14, 2025Hello, designs like MagicUI heavily include animated motion components. DivMagic can't access Javascript code on websites. Motion components primarily use Javascript to give animation effects. That is the reason why DivMagic can't provide a code for JS animated websites. You can still get a working template code if you disable JS on those websites and copy or run DivMagic on a static version of...
