Too disappointed
I had high expectations of this app and couldn't wait to use it, but unfortunately it seemed so great to me. But after hours of testing it on various sites, the result doesn't live up to my expectations at all.
It's not 1:1 as promised, and even on simple designs or even in Tailwind natively, it doesn't really work. I've never managed to duplicate a simple button identically. Sometimes it's not even the same colours that are reproduced.
Sometimes there's nothing to copy or the responsive doesn't work properly.
I don't have the knowledge of Tailwind to correct what's wrong, so I can't use it in these conditions. I'm surprised by the other reviews and that people manage to use it... but I don't rate it too highly after all, especially as the support team responds even though they haven't been able to fix the problems.
I'm waiting for improvements but otherwise it will be a refund.

I do agree that we can be doing much better on certain websites. The internet is very big and different websites use different frameworks and coding styles for their development. We're trying to improve the tool every day so it can perform better on all of these different environments.
The color being different is probably due to the Tailwind mapping we do. Since Tailwind only has a certain number of colors, we map the colors to their closest Tailwind matches. We will add an option for that in the future so you'll be able to make the extension not do that and use arbitrary color values to keep them the same.
The responsiveness not working is most probably related to the security of the website that you tried copying from. Some websites prevent access to their source files which include CSS stylesheets we are reading from. This prevents us from being able to access all of the CSS styles used. This doesn't happen very often and we are working on a solution for that.
Having said all these, I do agree that the tool can be improved and it is being improved. We're working on significant changes in multiple areas including improving the copying logic, improving the newly added toolbox and live editor and new features that will come very soon.
