DM Champ is amazing, but I bought it because of BYOK, and I was disappointed to learn that it only works with Claude.
All my applications use OpenIA, so unfortunately I'll have to request a refund.

May 31, 2026Thanks for the kind words, and sorry BYOK wasn't the fit you hoped for. Quick thing though, you don't actually need BYOK to use DM Champ. You can just pay with credits, and we recently introduced our own in-house AI model that's roughly 4x cheaper than Claude and on par performance wise, so you're not forced into a Claude key at all.
On why BYOK is Claude only: it's on the roadmap and we started...

Excellent, just please add the ILS currency to the settings.
A simple button to pause an outgoing campaign is also missing, and the mobile phone support in the interface is very poor. Lots of disappearing buttons, unoptimized screens, etc. - it is recommended to do a strong job on mobile phone responsiveness for management on the go.
And please add microsoft calender too.

I dont understand the 5 taco reviews
We purchased this as a "Sales" agent chatbot but ended up with a generic operator we already have in Chatbase. The setup is quite confusing... Each chatbot is under campaign and you must find that tiny icon that opens the whole customization module...(not too user friendly).
To our big surprise BYOK is not really a cherry on top, because you can only work with Claude, which will eventually start generating more recurring costs. 🚩
You are monitored from the onboarding. 🚩
You will be asked to provide personal and business information with the owner in order to register your account... Why? In other chatbot tools this onboarding flow has never been seen. We have bought 3 chatbot services so far.
THIS MISSES THE CORE CONCEPT OF APPSUMO COMPLETELY!!
Entrepreneurs and Agencies come here for LTDs Lifetime Deals... this is a countdown until you start paying...Very clever for the app owner but not so for Summolings.
The RED FLAG, the credits make no sense.🚩
It's set up to charge you 50 credits just for connecting a channel (ex. WhatsApp) and will charge you 50 credits monthly just for keeping it connected....Meaning by the end of 1 year (if you only have 1 chatbot) or a few months if you connect many chatbots (for customers) you will already have to spend more by either getting a monthly subscription or purchase more credits.
The architecture of this kind of monetization feels like a MOB architecture 😄 everything looks shiny and attractive on the outside, 5 taco reviews, no mentions of the ONLY CLAUDE API available, and other questionable settings.
We purchased Tier 3 hoping to get EXACTLY what the comments and reviews are saying...and we don't end up with a highly skilled sales agent. Same as other chatbot tools, you will have to train it yourself to do so.
We are returning DM Champ for now. We really hoped this would live up to its reviews but it feels too shady.

We are still waiting on a refund. Our concerns are not from inexperience... We did mention we have other LTD chatbots... Either way, this is not selling itself as the powerful features with what a user can use to design their OWN INFRASTRUCTURE... its selling itself as a plug and play..its not... You might want to use other AI chatbots and see what we are talking about.
We have our own chatbot interface with unlimited chatbots, whitelabel, voice-calls (not too fancy) with BYOK where we can select ALL llm models we want, not just CLAUDE. We were interested in the "sales agent" that your campaign is mostly about when you go through your whole funnel is selling this application as... Another user felt exactly the same... shiny by with question marks. The features you offer are promising and we really wish y'all the best. But we have also made bad investments in other projects which makes us have to retrieve our purchase. If you want to be more transparent please add ONLY CLAUDE right here on the product description page, not in FAQs..or anywhere else. That alone would have made us avoid the transaction in the first place.
We also understand you need to protect your product...just letting other Sumos know what they are getting. You have a great product, it just doesnt fit what we thought we were getting or hoping for.
UPDATE:
You cant use "Usecases" as if they are your own wins. THEY ARE USECASES...what some people can still do millions with PowerPoint others just can't. When you mention a SALES AGENT, since we have been trying to tailor the perfect AI chatbot for over 5 years, so far Chatbase is the best, and it takes on-going training, and updating the chatbot. The first thing that comes to mind when we see the product page here is that you market "THE SALES" which is the one skill that you did have that makes DM Champ, not the chatbot or features, its the training and years of editing to get that one perfect agent you can replicate.
What you need to do is FIX your pitch, talk more of the special features and what others have accomplished with those features.
One does not have to join outside communities, Skools or other platforms. You have the right business mindset but your angle is not honest. This 50 credits for WhatsApp is nowhere to be found.
By Experience we mean: We already own and sell ready to go Chatbots with BYOK including all the different llm models you've mentioned (no errors), voice calls (not the best but works), connect your own domain, integrations to whatsapp, instagram, messenger (which you dont have yet) along with zapier, webhooks, etc....Not one DIME to be spent on other services besides the API fees (Gemini flash is free btw)...that's a LTD.
Again, from experience, we have lost thousands in projects here on AppSumo that disappeared after a 6-24 month period. This is us being extremely cautious. You could make BILLIONS out of a chatbot we sold you but the training remains yours...We cant resell your results as our own...We cant replicate it. Anyways world is a scary place, not everyone here is honest.

Very good, stable with room to grow and evolve
This can very well become a 5+-star taco product.
It has room to be refined.
Purchased the highest tier.
Definitely see the value and beyond for "white label" agency use case.
Hope it sticks around... The credits and BYOK make it scalable.
I think this product is pretty solid where it stands.
Some general feedback:
- As a founder myself, look, I get being the food prep, sous chef and executive chef, wearing many hats is part of a bootstrapped product. DM Champ's founder seems to be doing everything, which can wear thin eventually. May I suggest to hire a technical support (even part time) who knows your product on a deep technical level, to be on the customer-facing service side.
This isn't some hobbyist's product, you can tell there was a lot of thought and work put into it. The "customer" engagement part and curt responses could use some polish. Responses are quick, but scattered, and challenging to decipher. A more technical (and patient) customer-facing person could really help here.
There's a lot going on under the engine to explore, and some of it is trial and error.
Let me give an example.
We have the SAME META account and using different IG accounts, which many "agencies" will have.
- Campaign 1 - We tried to connect 1 IG to 1 FB page (A), worked fine.
- Campaign 2 - We tried to connect 2nd IG again but it wouldn't work. It wasn't until we found out that 2nd IG has to be associated to a whole "other" FB page (B) for it to work. So we made another FB page (B) to connect with the 2nd IG and voila it worked for our use case and we were able to provide separate content for that 2nd IG.
*It's important to note, it was nothing wrong with DM Champ, it's following META's rules but it would be "nice" if there was a tool tip there to make it less painful.
- The AI is remarkable. The precision is pretty cool.
- FAQ would suggest ability to re-order (up/down). Everything else is honestly "fun."
- Suggest a tool tip for how to retrieve and add the post ID. I pasted our post URL and asked our AI and it it returned the numeric post ID for us. Not sure everyone would "get" that.
- Suggest to SEE the post IDs shared and clarity if you can have more than one? The post IDs we added seemed to go into the ether (form hole). What if we don't want that post ID associated anymore to the keyword? What happens in the "after" it's added could be smoothed out.
- BYOK feature is great; quick and easy.
- Credits for sub-accounts
We added our own key but I'd like more tool tip clarity on how credits works if we revert to "credits" for sub-accounts. More clarity on how credits can be allotted and the char explanation too.
- API/webhook and integrations makes a ton of sense.
- More clarity on custom functions would help (e.g. are there constraints, if any, what?)
- Sub-accounts' like very much the level of control what we can turn on/off and make accessible for each account. Would love to customize and automate the onboarding part with our own webhooks more, feels now pretty manual for agency where you're serving many potential accounts.
- Overall if DM Champ works on refining the technical support, the UX/UI refinements DM Champ would be unmatched.
Special Mention:
The recent AI feature for "follow ups", I haven't used that (just released), glad to learn we can control turn/off for main and sub-accounts. Especially when using BYOK.
