Found problems I didn't know I had

I thought I knew the basics of setting up a trusted email address - until a few people found my emails in their spam folder. I signed up for DMARC and saw my email reputation start to climb immediately. What a difference. If you think about the cost of one important email message going to spam, it's a no-brainer.

It's really good ᕕ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ᕗ

Picked up one code last time they were here and set it up later with a handful of domains right before Microsoft added their policies around DMARC records for sending to outlook email addresses.

DMARC Report really exceeded my expectations and I particularly like the hosted DMARC, MTA-STS etc. records.

It's like the convenience of Cloudflare for managing your DMARC and other email related DNS security records. Keeping them in a centralised hub for easy updating while being able to see reports.

I found some strange phenomenon with one of my domains sending way above what it should be. Once I switched from DMARC monitoring only to reject, that volume has since dropped off to around where it should be. So it appears there were hundreds of thousands of spoofed emails monthly from that domain. I don't know how much volume was being sent exactly, as that one domain used all of my T1 quota within a day or two haha.

Overall very happy with DMARC Report and glad to see they aren't locking LTD buyers out of new features like managed records. In light of this great track record and my pleasant experience with their tool, I've gone ahead and full stacked this time around. Looks like they are adding some great new features also, based on their updates in the Q&A.

I think some of the help/info baked into the UI could be improved, to help users understand what each setting does incl. their current settings - or at least improved linking to help resources. It seems to assume that you have a decent understanding of DMARC records.

Even if you don't email much, if you just have a website/domain - then DMARC should be used to prevent people spoofing your domain without your knowledge and damaging it's reputation.

I was bomdarded with Spam on my Business emails

Implementing DMARC on my domain proved to be a critical step in protecting my business email infrastructure from abuse. Prior to setting up DMARC, I had no visibility into who was sending emails on behalf of my domain—legitimately or maliciously. My inbox was constantly being overwhelmed, and my domain reputation was suffering due to unauthorized use.

Once DMARC reporting was in place, I started receiving regular reports that clearly showed which email sources were authorized and which ones were not. The data helped me:

Identify legitimate IP addresses and mail servers that were correctly configured and sending emails from our domain.

Uncover unauthorized IPs and domains that were spoofing my domain and sending spam, phishing attempts, or other unwanted emails.

Pinpoint the sources responsible for flooding my inbox, allowing me to take immediate action.

Dude! Without DMARC reports, I would have had no reliable way to determine which mail sources were trusted and which were malicious. This level of insight allowed me to block the offending IPs and servers at a DNS or firewall level, drastically improving email deliverability, reducing inbox clutter, and protecting my customers and partners from potential fraud.

I am not a techie person in no way. I highly recommend it to any business that values brand protection and secure communications.
