Q: I was about to buy this and I stopped as soon as I saw BidSketch's mention.

Here's why:
- I was a user of Bidsketch for a couple years before I ended up looking at alternatives. Their "proposal builder" wasn't easy to use and their proposal templates, in my opinion, lacked the beauty element.

I mention this because BidSketch felt like a "ghost company" like someone stated here. There was no semblance of a real company operating, and it felt like a VA answered support questions.

Also, the bugs in the builder notwithstanding, it took BidSketch an awful long time to "catch" up. There were no product updates, no clear help docs (and this slowly changed of course), even their website looked antiquated. The only benefit BidSketch had was the templates it came with, so people (myself included) got started there.

Why am I talking about all this?
Because I'm not sure if DocSketch will go the same way of not getting updated or even being compared to PandaDoc, HelloSign, etc.

So, Ruben, mind telling us how you plan to be a part of DocSketch, and what your plans are long-term? I don't want to buy a product, especially a lifetime product, if development stalls in a few months.

A: Of course, we'll be updating and releasing features for Docskech regularly (we do so with Bidsketch as well). There's a way to sign up for free and check it out, and you can get a feel for whether you like the approach we're taking with Docsketch or not.
