We don't have an esignatures option built in - However, you can connect your automation workflow with a dedicated signature service using one of the automation tools (Zapier, Make, Integrately, Pabbly Connect)
I thought that signatures were built-into the PDF spec? If I create a PDF that accepts a signature, and use it as a template, won't the PDFs that you generate also accept signatures?
How exactly could Zapier etc. connect Documentero with a signature service, and which ones would you recommend?

Documentero is using Word (not PDFs) documents as templates. Regarding signatures platform we are leaving choice up to you. Some customers just at the end of submission of form in Documentero asks clients to do some instructions (like sign document or add attachments)
