Documentero - Document Automation & Generation Software

Product details

Q: Will you consider PPT generation next?

There are a lot of people asking for PPT in the questions. I know you already have Word, PDF, and Excel, but PPT is the missing piece. Will you consider adding it as the next feature? My recommendation is to add this next so your tool covers all of Microsoft's Office suite tools and is more complete as a tool.

A: Thank you for the feedback! Weโ€™re continuously gathering requests and prioritizing the features that are most in demand. So far, our main focus has been on enhancing DOCX and PDF (plus recently added Excel format) generation with more advanced capabilities, since thatโ€™s where weโ€™ve seen the strongest need.

+1 PPT also agree this is the main thing missing with your tool and its strange that your team did not think of adding PPT in if you already added other MS suite tools like word, excel

Hi Jarek, you have already completed Word, PDF, and Excel since these features are working. However, many people are requesting PPT, as shown by the questions. Clearly, there is a need and demand for PPT, and I'm not the only one mentioning it.

@Sandyltd, @Wonka I have tried & used more than five well established Documentero competitors such as ZZ, DG, DP, IL, PR and others.. I must say that Documentero is a no-brainer and absolutely the TOP PDF API SaaS! ๐Ÿ”ฅ Forget about PPTX. Better to have strong and fully working DOCX, PDF & API support. I am now buying several Tier 3 more licenses (to be future proof) ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿš€

Martine the way you do replies or reviews here on Appsumo, I sometimes wonder if you are an AI or paid to say what you say..

@Wonka Yep, I am an AI robot, paid by all these SaaS startups. I usually receive commissions for all these GAME-CHANGER reviews to PayPal, but sometimes I prefer Stripe .. for CC payments, so that I can write another review right from the spot! You really made my day haha ๐Ÿ˜‚

Martine do you even read what people have said in the questions here? many have asked for PPT! most businesses use PPT if you dont and only use word and pdf you live under a rock or on a different planet to earth.

@Sandyltd Well, PDF is still the gold standard. All my prospects provide me with documents in PDF, and so do I. I recommend forgetting PPTX and starting to use PDFs as flipbooks instead. Check FlipHTML5... you can thank me later, Alligator โœŒ

@Martine, did you know that 90% of companies use PowerPoint or Google Slides to make presentations to clients? You might prefer PDFs, but you're likely a freelancer and not a big business. PDFs are not as presentable or professional. Flipbooks only flip pages, and that's it. With PowerPoint, it's more professionalโ€”you can add animations, integrate videos, and more, which you can't do with PDFs.

P.s PDF might be ok for sending documents via email but no its not even the gold standard for presentations not even close, PPT will always be the gold standard for presentations! But hey you dont sound like a person who even presents to clients, and likely just email documents to cleints, so you can keep using your PDF.

@Sandyltd PPT is cute for wowing a room, but once the lights go off, guess what lands in every client inbox? A PDF .. It's universal, tamper - proof, and doesn't break on "missing font" day. I'd rather Documentero be a PDF/DOCX rocket than a shaky PPT sideshow. ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ“„ My two cents to this one โœŒ
