Q: Is there a way to auto test web assembly app?

For example, click a button drawn by Canvas or find if there is a string on Canvas.

A: Hello,

It's a very good question and due to web assembly yet being not so popular, it isn't something we looked into much. If you have any particular examples or Scenarios to solve, then please email me at alex@dogq.io and I'll look into it, I'm curious. Maybe we will face some challenges with clicking buttons there(yet we are working on improving our clicking functionality to allow clicks by coordinates, and not only by selectors), but I think that finding a string should not be an issue. If DogQ can't find the text string in the HTML code of the page, then it takes a screenshot of the whole page and uses OCR to "take another look".

Thanks,
Alex.
