Dokan Cloud supports both single-store and multi-vendor setups, depending on the pricing tier you're on. So yes, if you're on a multi-vendor tier, your main account can absolutely operate as a full marketplace with multiple vendors.

Thank you for reaching out and for your interest in expanding your Dokan Cloud capabilities.
At the moment, the Multivendor Marketplace feature is available starting from Tier 5 and above. Unfortunately, it's not included in the Tier 4 plan, and we're currently not offering the option to add it individually to lower-tier plans.
That said, I completely understand how important...
Why can’t marketplace owners delete vendors and their content directly? With stores inevitably closing, the lack of this basic administrative function means the marketplace will accumulate inactive accounts. There are also legal concerns around retaining people’s data without consent. Can someone explain the reasoning behind this limitation, and is there a timeline for when this will be resolved?
At this moment, the option to delete vendors directly is not available on our platform. However, marketplace administrators do have the ability to suspend vendors, preventing them from using their accounts, while still keeping the data intact. This ensures that vendors cannot re-register with the same email address on a new marketplace.
Thanks for bringing attention to this, I didn't know this is not possible. This is so weird and not GDPR compliant at all. Following the response before I refund.
Currently, we are not yet fully GDPR compliant, but we are committed to achieving full compliance as quickly as possible. At present, we adhere to the maximum possible level of GDPR compliance in our processes, and our development team is actively working to ensure we meet all the necessary requirements. We are confident that we will be fully compliant in the very near future.
I've been working closely with the team at Dokan Cloud, as a long time user of their Wordpress plugin. Believe me, you've got a gem of a deal here, and yes there are issues, and it's early days, but I am 100% confident that these guys are on it like sonic. If anyone can pull this off, its Atikur and his team.
Q: Multi vendor
Just wanted to ask:
1. For Tier 5, I can make 2 multi-vendor sites, right? 2. How many vendors can sell on tier 5 multi vendor? 3. How about 50 e-commerce sites whats this? Can you explain.
For Tier 5, I can make 2 multi-vendor sites, right? Yes, if you purchase Tier 5, you will be able to create 2 multi-vendor marketplaces.
How many vendors can sell on tier 5 multi-vendor? For Tier 5, there is no limitation on the number of vendors you can add. You can add an unlimited number of vendors.
I bought Tier 2, and when I set up my account, I was asked to choose between a marketplace or a standalone store. It said I can’t change my choice later, which caught me off guard since I didn’t really understand what that meant. I ended up staring at that screen for a whole day without making any progress. It was a bit overwhelming because there wasn’t much information provided. I’m confused about what a marketplace actually involves — like if I can create 3 stores if I pick that option, which is listed as a feature of Tier 2. Could you please give me some clear advice or direct me to videos or resources where I can find more info? I need to figure out how to create 3 stores, whether through a marketplace or as separate stores, and understand what each choice means and implications on choosing one of those options.
Dokan Cloud is a SaaS-based solution that allows you to create either a standalone store or a multi-vendor marketplace.
Standalone: If you choose the Standalone option, you will have your own independent store where you can sell your products directly. This is ideal if you’re looking to run a single-vendor business.
Hi Gausul, I appreciate your reply. However, I noticed that you shared only the definitions, which are generally well-known concepts. Additionally, it was evident that Dokan Cloud is a SaaS-based solution prior to making a purchase. It seems there may have been a misunderstanding regarding my original question, as I didn't receive the information I was seeking. Thanks for your attention to this.
I apologize for the misunderstanding. If you purchase Tier 2, you will be able to create 3 different standalone shops. Each of these will act as an independent e-commerce store. You can add 3 different domains and create 3 separate e-commerce websites to sell your products.
If you have any further questions regarding Tier 2, please feel free to let me know.
In particularl, I'm looking for clarification on the differences between choosing a marketplace and a standalone store for my Tier 2 account. I'm particularly confused about how each option impacts my ability to create 3 stores, as that's listed under Tier 2. I would appreciate clear advice or resources to help me understand these options better so I can make an informed decision & a Tier upgrade.
Q: Multi-Vendor
Hello,
Just to clarify, Is it Multi Vendor or not for the main account?
Is it fully whitelabel?
Thanks
