Platform looks promising, but...
They're not GDPR-compliant. For EU-based stores and merchants, this is a big no no since you technically can't use Dokan Cloud to process or store customer data. And then what's the point?
I definitely see promising signs of value from weDevs (the parent company), but until compliance is achieved, there's no way Dokan Cloud can replace WooCommerce, let alone Shopify. I will be keeping my Tier 3 license in hopes of a bright future.

May 27, 2025Hello @CStangerup,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We really appreciate it. You are right that we are not fully GDPR compliant, but we are partially compliant as of now.
# We provide data deletion, export for our direct customers.
# We support cookie banner for collecting consent from customers (to admins)
Admins can create their own privacy, terms, gdpr agreement pages
# We do not have any public page for declaring data storage and usage policy. Even our privacy policy page doesn't state any dokan Cloud-related information. https://dokan.co/privacy-policy/ We do not have a terms and conditions page for the cloud. We are not taking consent (agreement with privacy policy, data policy, terms) before creating the marketplace.
# We do not provide customer, vendor deletion.
Our team is working on this, and we hope to be fully GDPR compliant soon. Thanks!
