After hesitating a bit between NeuronWriter and Dokey, I pulled the trigger on the last one. And I stacked as much code as allowed! 🤩

PROS
- We have access to Semrush dataset for the keyword research (it's the most reliable on the market AFAIK)
- The team is actually a true SEO agency that use it for their own (BIG) clients : they know what they do and what they need for themselves, so I trust them to keep improving the tool.
- The workflow itself to plan new content is great! It's really fast to copy the headings of the best ranked pages to get ideas.
- The keyword suggestion for the content is really clear, accurate and keyword clustering / grouped topics + "People also ask" give even more ideas.
- The UX/UI is really great! Everything is well thought out and beautiful : it's 200% a tool that I will want to use, for sure!
- We can connect unlimited Googe search console accounts! So no problem if your clients already have their account and want to keep it on their side.
- We can create unlimited teams and invite people with super customizable access rules. Great to invite clients or collaborators.
- Super clear pricing : no generated word credits or dumb limits. It's per page and super clear to understand.
- The feature to import pages automatically and suggest which one to optimize in priority to have maximum impact is awesome!
- We can track the ranking of each page directly in the tool!

CONS
- There is no way to integrate our Copy.ai or OpenAI key to automatically generate content to start the writing faster. I really hope that it will come soon, but I really prefer to "not have it yet" instead of "having the tool itself to provide AI credits".
- Only available in few languages... But it's ok for me: the languages I need are perfectly integrated.
- The scoring seems a bit high, but anyway, I never trust those kinds of scores. Tools cannot have a really good idea of the quality of your content.
- Bonus : I would also love a trend graph for each keywords during the keyword research.

Also don't be fooled by the number of the other tools that are not at their first AppSumo campaign and push buyers for reviews. On the Dokey side, I received absolutely nothing telling me to add a review here. I just wanted to share my honest love for the tool and support the great team behind it. For that price, it's a steal! Do not miss it or regret it...

Love the fact that I can look at the occurrence of keywords to help me determine if I am using a keyword too often or not enough!

The structure and Google results page is very nice to see relevant questions and themes covered as well as text structure. If you're like me, the details matter when creatin an article and this tool hits the spot for me. Its ranks with Neuron writer but differently.

Would have upgraded to tier 3 but the pricing was a huge jump so I opted for tier 2.

Nice tool, looking forward to seeing to grow and become a top notch solution in the market!!

The product, despite being new, is stable, no bugs or glitches found, and I found it easier to use than Neuron that I own too. Also, the support is good, had an onboarding. They will add a WordPress plugin in the future. For the price here it is a clear buy.

This tool just does what it promises and in a very intuitive and easy way. Get your top SERP-results, construct your document structure from the top ranking articles, and start writing using NLP keywords provided by Dokey. Sometimes in foreign languages a couple of words are present that should not be there, and for now there is no way to delete them from the results, but perhaps that little problem will be solved in the future. For the rest it's a fantastic tool and well worth the money spent!!!

Dokey's a pretty solid content optimization tool with some great features. I really like the Google Search Console integration and user-friendly way to optimize content.

However, Dokey still needs to step up their game to beat out competitors like Marketmuse, Frase, and Surfer SEO. Improving their SERP analysis and making some UX changes, like combining the research and editor views (similar to Frase), and adding GPT-3.5/GPT-4 capabilities would help a lot. For example, features that Frase has such as having the SERP research right beside the editor, the article rewrite and "write about this" features are all game changing features, but are all things that Dokey is currently missing. With that being said, I actually prefer Dokey to NeuronWriter and Contentpace. If they incentivized reviews like the NeuronWriter team does, they'd probably have just as many reviews on AS (if not more).

Like some others, I found that their scoring can be a bit too generous sometimes as well, which might make users think they're doing better than they are, which obviously isn't good. I'd love to see them update their scoring parameters to be more in line with the competitors mentioned above, that would also help them keep those newer to SEO expectations more realistic.

The Dokey team should also think about expanding their online presence on platforms like Twitter beyond French, as it might hold them back from growing in larger markets to reach a wider audience and really succeed globally. Dokey is great tool in it's early days with loads of potential. With some additional AI features and tweaks to combine the SERP research and editor

I wasn't sure that Dokey would be of much benefit given my "library" of content tools from Appsumo and other sources.

What stands out right away for me and has been a strong benefit is the ability to add multiple GSC accounts, optimize existing content with ease, and create new content with the right amount of input while writing.

I DO think that the scoring may be a little too generous at times. It could lead users to believe that if they score, for example a 90 or higher, that they're almost certain to rank high in Google. Other tools in this space score at a more realistic level (i.e. a 60 is a "good" score), so maybe expectations can be tempered differently by revisiting the scoring mechanism.

Finally, the monitoring. I really like this feature attached to every article. A potential optimization to this feature (maybe something I missed?) would be a summary area of all articles being monitored with their current and historical rankings. In the meantime, I have to click on the individual article and then the monitor link. That said, the monitor function is really cool and helps me keep track of where things are heading with my content.

Overall, awesome tool and one I look forward to seeing grow and become a market leader.

I am very impressed with the content planning and optimization features that Dokey provides. I suggest the Dokey team to emphasize more on content optimization tool and improving it rather than stuffing it with more features. This can become an excellent competitor to Surfer SEO, Frase or even cognitiveSEO's content planning and optimization tool.

I took Dokey for a spin, and overall I really liked it. Thorough content research on queries. Integration to Google Search Console was great, and overall the basics were covered.

But what I don't really get is the pricing on your website. I know you're running a lifetime deal now, and based on the lifetime deal you're providing great value, no doubt.

What I would like to see are some UX changes. Have the full research and editor in one view. Use the Google Search Console integration better.
If I'm optimising a piece of content and you can see in the data from Google Search Console, I get tons of impressions on a query but 0 clicks, and you can see I don't talk about that query in my content, then suggest it.

Small things like this make a major difference in the product and make you stand out from the alternatives.

Dokey has a huge potential to be great, and you're already off to a great start, we just need the last features and UX improvements to really get up there. 🙌

Signed up to Tier 2, now considering switching to Tier 3, this is one of those apps you'll regret finding 6 months from now when Lifetime is gone.

I've been comparing this to SurferSEO and some others and they do pretty much the same thing - and damn the competition is expensive!

ONLY 1 thing I would recommend that Surfer does (and even then I believe it's new in their system) - Have an automated button that automatically inserts required missing words into your article (with an approve or deny button) - that would make this thing a monster in speed!

Nothing more I can say but wow. The other reviews talk about why it's that good and all I can say is wow. Don't let the amount of usage fool you. There's a business logic behind that and I back them on it. It's a keeper for sure.

This is currently one of the best SEO tools for Sumolings, and it will continue to be one of the best in 2023. It is incredibly simple to use, and getting connected to GSC is a breeze. The user experience is very easy to pick up and is fairly developed. One of the finest features available on the market today is one that allows for monitoring and overviewing the page structure and elements. Check it out while you still have the opportunity to do so. Highly recommended.

I bought a lot of tools from Appsumo (just check how many deals I bought above this line) and this is one of the best purchases. Among content optimizers, I have used Marketmuse, Frase, Neuron Writer & ContentPace. Dokey offers several tools in one:

1) Content Optimizer - has a splendid visual element to show you if a word is under, overutilized or it appears the right number of times. The quality of the optimizer seems to be on par with Frase and Neuron and better than ContentPace.
2) Keyword research tool - this tool is based on SemRush data, so you are getting access to a very solid and reliable dataset
3) Content Strategy - Dokey connects to Google Search Console and, based on your own data, provides you the pages that - when optimized - will have the highest impact on your traffic. This is an amazing feature and my main reason for purchasing this tool
4) Internal linking - this particular module is worth $80 if you were to buy a dedicated tool

The value provided by Dokey is insane, and I consider this one of my best purchases on Appsumo. The team who developed it is an SEO agency, and the reviews on Trustpilot are stellar. I took the time to read all of them, and I am convinced Dokey is one of the deals that - a few years down the road - I will be very glad I bought.

Conflict of interests: I have no affiliation with Dokey and no conflict of interests. My recent video call with Bastien and my experience with the product convinced me this tool is a true hidden gem.

Let's be real. There are a lot of tools to help you write things. I have a bunch of them.

What I didn't have was one that helped me with SEO while I wrote.

I played around with a couple of different ones and Dokey is the one I'm sticking with.

Some others weren't properly formed and a lot was relying on what they promised, others just didn't have a layout or workflow I liked.

Dokey gives you a 7 day trial which is great, you can really check it out and see what it can do.

This is what I like:

- On the structure page you get google results page for the keyword you put in. Which shows rankings of results. It also shows you the headers competitor websites have, other relevant questions and keywords all sorted into groups.
- You build the structure of your content by adding your own headers, or clicking a button and putting a heading from a competitor easily into the text structure
- The writing screen is nice. Gives you a lot of feedback about keywords and density in your writing. You can click on one and have it highlighted within the text to see it easier. Using too many of a word, just highlight it and pick "find a synonym" to help you out.
- Easily see under utilised words
- Can connect to Google Search Console and monitor the traffic to your content
- Able to move headings around, so easy to rearrange content if needed

Things that could be improved

- Some parts still have French showing (French team made this), not a biggie at all, and I know they are fixing that up.
- No road map currently. So hard to know what's coming up next etc.

Other things to note.

I'm OK if there isn't an AI writer built into this. I can use other things and paste into this if I need to. I am interested to see how their AI assistant will work though.

The options in the writing section are super basic which I feel is ideal. But FYI there's no image insertion, which I personally think is fine as I will add those once I'm in my website.

The limits might not be enough for some people. But they do say you can get a custom plan if you need to.

I still have to see how it can improve older posts I've already written. But for new content I am creating I feel I am writing more well rounded content to Dokey.

In conclusion:
I'm happy with the tool, how it works and the current features it has. To me it feels pretty solid and I'm now implementing it into my workflow.
