I am not sure I got you here, can you explain more.
Which icon we are talking about, and which top bar?
Thanks

The icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen. The app has a dropdown for Open Application, Start at login, Check for Update, etc. My menu bar is black and the icon is black too so it doesn't show and ultimately I want to hide this icon but keep the app running in the background.
I see, what you mean now.
I'll have to find a fix for the icon issue in the next few releases, but basically in mac the apps either can have an icon in the dock or the tray .
Hiding the menu from the tray is not logical, as people will need to have a way to reopen the application other than clicking on it from the applications menu.
I can't promise that this is an option I'll add as there are no demand on such feature, but I'll have to fix the color of the icon problem for sure.
thanks

A lot of apps have a toggle or preference to hide the icon or not.
I want to have this app running all the time so I can get renewal reminders etc. But I don't want to have another icon up top since the app won't be used often. It's like a set and forget. I really hope you consider this.
let me see what can I do for this
The next version will have an option to hide the menu bar icon.
I am currently testing it and it will be released soon (in the next week or so)
Thanks
