I bought the 3 Code one for Dorin. I was worried about what it is and what it does, but it’s basically an AI assistant that follows you around on pages and can be used for many different purposes. I was surprised by how good it is, so I had to give a good review. I have many AI chat options, but none do quite as well as this—not even Merlin, which is similar. I also use Nily to some extent to help.

What separates it is the number of useful options at my disposal. For example, I use the X app a lot, and I can quickly fix my grammar when I type. Mind you, I have X Premium+, but it often changes my words; here, I can just fix grammar with little loss.

Another good feature is that it seems to have some sort of OCR, as it has a screenshot option I use when I see Korean text for my K-pop; it lets me chat with the text so I can easily understand it. To test this feature, I tried a long Japanese interview on Dragon Ball Daima; many AIs translated it wrong (guessing no OCR), but this one got it scarily right—even the names. You can also just save the image and ask it.

Even more, you can legit ask it to translate an entire page, and it will do so! I translated a Korean page (Kstyle) talking about the K-pop group TWICE by simply asking it to—that’s insane.

It has some great models—GPT-5, Claude 4 Sonnet and Opus, and Gemini 2.5 Pro—so if, like me, you prefer top models, you’re covered.

Also, it can be used to chat with YouTube. YT has its own Ask feature, but sometimes the option isn’t there, or they can’t really help me in the chat. Dorin is hella useful and always there. You can choose your model, too (I found this helpful; for example, GPT-5 sounded a bit biased on one video, so I switched to Sonnet for that video).

It also sticks around more than, say, Nily or Merlin, which sometimes disappear or are unusable depending on the site. And it can just be used as an AI chatbot if you want to ask questions about anything.

Also has a playground if you click on the full page meaning you can ask a question and up to 6 Ai's can answer it so you can compare.

It has many other use cases, but these are some super useful ones I’ve found. My only complaint is that sometimes, if it hovers somewhere, you can’t move it to the side, which can be a tad annoying—so a quality-of-life upgrade would help. Maybe add more models like Grok 4 or Claude 4.1/4.5, but the models available are top-notch, so these are just minor criticisms.

Overall, what are you doing? Why isn’t this a steal yet? I highly recommend it before it’s gone.

First of all, I don't want to vote based on some negative points. I think it's necessary to have space and time for you to change.

Things I like:
1. Flux Pro 1.1 is really amazing, with lightning-fast generation speed. This is the fastest image generation product I have ever experienced.
2. The email reply system is clear and neat. It helps a lot in saving time when writing emails.
3. The popup when selecting text is also nice, I like how it works. However, it needs an option to change the prompt faster, or a pin pop-up feature. I think Nily AI does this a bit better.
4. The settings system is also unique and creative, I like the clear presentation like that. :)

A few things that I am not entirely satisfied with(UPDATE: ALL OF BELOW WERE UPGRADED IN A VERY SHORT TIME) :)
1. The model system is outdated. Gemini 2.0, GPT 4.0, and Claude 3.5 are very old models. They might still perform well for current tasks, but this is one of the factors in evaluating whether the product will be updated with flagship models.
2. The image editor does not work as expected, the inpaint or outpaint models cannot utilize Flux. SD3.5 and Dall-E are really poor.
3. The extension is very difficult to select, for example, when hovering over the extension icon (beside the edge of the browser), it can sometimes be hard to choose options like Expand, Close, etc., because it automatically closes when I try to hover over another function.
4. Selected text then pop-up functionality is quite okay, however, similar to the extension icon, when a little blue dot appears, hovering over it sometimes makes it disappear.
5. For someone like me who needs a lot of translations, having to hover once + then click 4 times with the options + scroll to select the target language, plus reselection of the text area that needs to be replaced and paste the text, is too complicated.
6. The credit system is unclear. I tried translating a short document using the GPT 4o model (4o-mini as well). It deducted 3 credit points from me, while the document https://dorin.ai/faq/appsumo-credit clearly states that it only requires 1 credit per generation.
7. The interface on the "Chat with Dorin" tab also has a bug, there is an extra page that is replacing the entire chat frame. It looks very similar to the error I often encounter when using AI to build websites.

This is just after one day of testing the functionalities. I hope they will improve, as I believe these are not very serious bugs and can be fixed easily. What I’m looking forward to is still the diversification of the latest models.

All the feedbacks above was fixed. I really like the way they listen and upgrade everything in a very short time. What I love the most is the appearance of Claude 4 Opus! :) Love it!
