Hi there, Will more elements be added to the block builder? I know it's in beta now, but it would be nice if we could basically make any of the pre-built layouts with the builder. Thanks
Hi, Yes sure there will me much more options for block builder, it is just 1st version. You can even request those features that you need by clicking to Request block in library.
Q: Hello Appsumo team,
is it possible to buy two draftium packages and later return one of them?
I am not sure if I can work and live with 10 concurrent projects or if I need unlimited projects (which is what I would get by stacking the deal x2).
Q: As your product early supporter who already signup for a annual deal, can you just provide us to upgrade to life time deal with 1 code?
currently your support, just upgrade my account to appsumo deal which have access to 10 project only, so what I pay for previously just gone ? Wait for 1 year then downgrade my current account from unlimited to appsumo deal will be silly as well, I would suggest might as well as just upgrade us the early supported to unlimited deal with just 1 code.
Thanks for your note! Unfortunately we cannot switch you from annual Draftium PRO to LT Draftium PRO if you got just 1 code. The thing that subscription system works so that we cannot combine 2 subscription types due to system restrictions. Sorry for inconveniences.
Hi, I think that's one of the lousiest excuses, you can convert me to the Appsumo basic plan but can't upgrade to unlimited plan due to how the subscription work.
Q: Looks like a nice tool.
But, can I create my own layout? E.g.: In your app, I can choose one or two buttons under a text block. What if I want to have three? Can I position elements exactly where I want them? Thanks!

Q: Draftium looks like a really polished tool and could be very helpful for building some quick mockups.
Having played with the free version for a bit I have a few questions:
(1) is it possible to create my own layouts from scratch? I've used Balsamiq for years, and for Draftium to be a viable replacement I'd need to be able to put elements on screen exactly how and where I want them.
(2) are all the templates single column/full width? I sometimes have layouts with a sidebar and couldn't see how to set up a page with a sidebar.
(3) while I like the selection of templates with pre-filled text, that could be counter productive where a client doesn't fit your options. Would it be possible to have a set of generic templates with some kind of lorem ipsum text - that way if I forget to change any of the default text it's rather easier to explain why there's a bit of latin than why there are references to hair care!
(4) if I am creating a multi-page site, is it possible to create a new page from an existing template? Or for any new page after the first one I have to either duplicate an existing page in my template, or start from scratch (other than header/footer blocks).
(5) is it possible to edit a global block for one page only? For example, if I have a global menu bar, I might want to show the current page as active.
(6) if I have a multi-page mockup, how do I give a client a simple list of all pages? It seems like they have to either find the page by clicking on links in the mockup, or go into comment mode where they can switch between pages.
(7) comment mode seems to work nicely for desktop sized mockups, but is it possible to leave comments on the mobile version of the site?
(8) is it possible to adjust breakpoints/how things change on smaller screen sizes?
(9) exporting directly to WordPress Gutenberg blocks could be fantastic. Will that work with any Gutenberg ready theme, or will it be tied to a specific base theme (or specific set of themes)?
Sorry... that's rather a lot of questions! Unlike many people who have commented and seem to want a simple click & drag -> publish website workflow, I'm looking for a wireframe/mockup tool which I can use for customised/hand crafted pages and sites.
Already Draftium can do many things well that Balsamiq doesn't do - but do you intend for it to be a viable replacement for tools like Balsamiq, or is it aiming for something different?
Sorry for some delay in our reply. Let me answer all your questions step-by step. (1) For the moment you are able to create a prototype that you need by picking a blank prototype - it is the first one in the library. Soon we’ll deliver blocks designer where you’ll be able to build a block with the elements you need.
(2) We still do not have sitebars, but they are in progress of development.
(3) Our initial idea was to fill the templates with pre-defined text that corresponds the block type or template theme. We thought that in such way the user will understand what type of text should be placed there. But you could replace all the texts it with “lorem ipsum” by copy-paste.... unfortunately, still manually.
(4) You can easily create a new page for your prototype (if the picked template doesn’t contain several pages) just by click to Add page - https://prnt.sc/mx0lne
(5) Could you please specify what do you mean by “global block”? If you are talking about menu, header or footer, you can set them for all the prototype. You may also add links to pages, menu, buttons to make your prototype interactive.
(6) Your clients could see all the pages by click to the links to them. The list of all prototype pages you may see on the same place here - https://prnt.sc/mx0lne
(7) For the moment comment mode is available for desktop version only, but we’ve got a lot of requests to make the feature available on tablets and mobile, so our product team is already estimating this feature.
(8) You can change paddings for the moment without any effort. All the prototypes are adaptive to all screens and the will adjust in proportion.
(9) We are already developing the feature that will allow to export the prototype in HTML, but still have no precise solution regarding WP.
That’s great that you’ve got a lot of questions, that should be so. And I’m happy to answer.
Actually there are a lot of niche solutions at the market. But we’ve just intended to create the best the tool for fast prototyping that users will love & use :)
(5) global block - yes, I mean things like menu, header and footer. I realise I can set them for the whole prototype, but can I vary them on a page by page basis? Sometimes small details of headers/footers change on specific pages - for example to show the currently selected page.
(8) changing padding doesn't solve the problem. What if I want to change how something responds responsively? For example, if a block has 4 pictures side by side at full width, can I define when the block changes to a 2x2 and then a 4x1 grid?
You said "we’ve just intended to create the best the tool for fast prototyping that users will love & use :)" - who are the "users" you are creating this tool for?
Is it people creating a website for themselves, or developers/agencies etc creating websites for others?
(5) in Draftium we set header and footer as global blocks. You can control them in one place and make some changes on the pages you need.
(8) we’re waiting to arrive a block builder within a week, and within a month our dev team promised to add more controls for blocks that you could change proportions and spaces between element.
Draftium is a prototyping tool. So we believe that it will be mainly helpful for those ones who building wireframes (pro website agencies & designers) and for those ones who are assigning task to the designers to create a website or landing page (marketers, project managers).
I have great news! Custom block is already delivered to Draftium and it is already available for testing, so you may already test it -https://prnt.sc/mxikpk
Q: Hi,
I just got 2 codes but noticed that there's no PRO plan in your website.
It’s ok. Always happy to help :) Have a great day too!
Q: Dear @Abedv_Draftium,
Thank you for your answer about additional team members.
But what worries me in all your answers to different questions is that you "kind of answer" to people's requests... Yes, it's great that you've added additional member feature to your roadmap. But the second part of my question was also simple: will WE get this feature included in OUR plans? Can you promise that with one code I'll have at least one additional seat for my VA? I personally want to have an additional login to feel secure about my account. I want my VA to work on the projects and me just keep my account. I wonder if I get an answer to my request this time... Last time it took you about a week to notice my question...
As this feature is still in process of estimation and development, I cannot guarantee that you will get extra seats for free - just because I still do not have this information and estimation about the resources are needed for this.
Sorry, it may sound a bit disappointing, but I’d rather prefer to be honest with our users than overpromise something.
Would appreciate your quick response: 1. I already have a website, but now I am looking for my web dev team to make major updates to it How can I use this tool for an existing website? 2. What if the website is shopify powered? Or it doesn't matter?

Q: First thing:
What will happen if Apple CEO says “if you don’t like iPhone then go to hell and buy Samsung or whatever”?
Now, simple question:
If this tool has 300+ templates meant little bit more work then these will be WP theme...
Any time in the future(let’s say in 5 years) any chance will you add the feature where we will keep look into the comments and updates the template and export as WP theme?

We are working on the option to export your prototypes in HTML - as this feature appeared in the highest demand while this deal. So in the nearest future everything is possible :)
Q: I understand that there is currently not a (built in) way to export to html and/or wordpress at this time.
Is there a way to at least export a pdf/jpeg of the layout? Also, I assume that the custom domain name is included with this appsumo deal as that feature is part of the pro plan - am I correct?
Unfortunately, HTML export is still not available - this feature is in progress of development. Hopefully it will be delivered soon. Yes, once you buy a code you become a PRO user forever and could connect custom domain to your projects.
I am a complete newbie to building websites. Q1.Would this be useful to learn, present and offer a website solution to businesses along with Weblium? (IS EVERYTHING HERE, YOU NEED?). Q2. I would need to stack 2 codes for a business owner to choose their own URL? Q3. I can have as many projects as possible with 1 code, but i can only have 10 on the go at the same time? with the 1 code how does a URL look please?
Thanks for your questions! 1. Draftium will be helpful for you if you face with prototyping while your daily workflow. It will allow you to create black&white prototypes, fill them with content and collaborate on them with your clients or teammates. 2. If you need to connect a custom URL you can stack only 1 code. 3. If you get 1 code, you can create as many projects as you need, but keep in your account only 10 at the same time. In other words if you need 11th project you’ll have to delete 1 project that you don’t need anymore.

1. Possible to connect - contact form from draftium (if available) or external link? 2. Embeddable custom code e.g. live chat/ buy button/ call to action button? 3. Possible to connect SSL domain/ sub-domain? I think yes- but still confirm please. 4. Is there any limit of traffic? Is the draftium projects will be hosted from CDN network? 5. What's the storage limit as user can upload the picture and how about embedding video from viemo or youtube does it works? 6. How many code to stack to get these features?
Thanks for your questions, and sorry for delay in my reply. 1. Yes, you can add contact form to your Draftium prototype by using CTA blocks in library. You can also set the external link, no problem :) 2. Unfortunately Draftium do not support embedded code, as normally it is not needed in prototypes but on later stages of website building. For instance, in Weblium you could do this. 3. It is possible to connect your domain, I confirm. 4. There is no limits for traffic. Your projects will be hosted on Google Cloud. 5. We do not limit storage space for Draftium Pro users. 6. To get all these features you have to buy 1 code. Thus, you’ll be able to create 10 project. If you need unlimited amount of projects, you should stack 2 codes.
