Very, very good wireframing software

If you understand the need to do wireframing or have attempted it in the past, you'll realise the pain. Without it, you can easily become caught in a client feedback process that is full of distraction around detail, missing the bigger picture in what they need to achieve. The trouble is, trying to use the current software to achieve wireframes quickly is damn hard work. Using Adobe Photoshop for wireframing is like using a hammer to swat a fly on a window. Adobe XD (whilst amazing for full UX design) is too slow, Balsamiq is too basic and doesn't support the feedback process, Indesign is no better than Photoshop. Powerpoint or Keynote, a little better but completely inflexible for fluid height presentation. I could go on :)

In fact I had almost written off having wireframes as part of our process and instead gone straight to prototype, dealing with the distraction. Draftium has given me the opportunity to bring this vital step back in and streamline the client approval process with far less distraction.

Draftium allows you quickly plot out sections on a page full with placeholder content and refine this by quickly adjusting the content. It's way faster than trying to wrestle a WordPress theme (header and footer), then use a different interface (Beaver Builder, Elementor or Gutenberg) to create the sections on the page. Draftium improves this by providing prefabricated sections (similar to Beaver Builder and Elementor), but then offering true speed of creation. Even the navigation component is simple and fast to use and allows dropdown sub-navigation (so many tools like this don't). Also, in true wireframing style Draftium forces you into black and white mode, therefore, again, offering less opportunity for distraction.

The publishing feature is very simple and quick and the feedback features are powerful and yet again simple. Also, you can setup your prototypes to be seen under your own domain via a sub-domain (requires a CNAME to be setup). Great feature!!!

Support has been quick and responsive too.

Overall, I love Draftium (I only have one real gripe). I would really like to see a roadmap and then continual progression of the software.

There are a few things I want to see for a more complete product over time. That doesn't take away from simplicity of what is already there though.

Some things I would like to see are:
- Forms display. This in my opinion is a big omission at the moment. Not just forms for contact pages either, but also landing page forms, newsletters etc.
- Capacity to add sub-users to my account (where I can set their privileges) and enable team management. Again, this is a big feature missing at present.
- Export to HTML (coming soon I think)
- Ability to create sitemaps (this would be a real killer feature)
- Ability to request content from the client and have an approval process for it
- Ability to categorise projects and group them into folders

So, only one real gripe, otherwise everything else is already great!

Thanks for your feedback!
- forms: we have some forms in CTA and Contacts section, could you please check maybe they will work for you?
- multi-user access is already in progress of developments - so we’ll let you know when it is ready;
- the same with export ;)
- as of sitemap: could you please specify, why do you need it on your prototype?
- the last 2 points are really great ideas! I’ve passes them to our dev team.
Thanks again for your detailed review.
