Another tool that didn't last! I'm not sure if we shouldn't call Appsumo “Deadsumo” instead. I've got more and more dead tools in my toolbox... At this rate, I'll be able to open a tool graveyard! On a more serious note, I'm beginning to wonder whether it wouldn't be simpler to subscribe to tools on a monthly basis, at least for the sake of reliability and time savings! We can't work like that... In my opinion, the risks aren't balanced enough: the founder gets the money, Appsumo gets its commission (whatever the outcome later) and the Sumo-lings lose their money... My Appsumo+ subscription is about to expire, I won't be renewing it. I'm done throwing away hundreds/thousands of dollars. No more for me this time Noah!
No more updates (for Dropppin) since mid-2024 and the founders don't plan to release anymore updates either (source: co-founder). They'll keep the service running for at least the short term. But add it to the list of failures on Appsumo. Already lost hundreds of dollars recently on failed projects and can't get my money or credit. Another Appsumo Select deal too.
I am extremely disappointed with Dropppin. It seems that the project has been abandoned, which now causes our own connected project to no longer function. We invested a lot of time and resources into integrating with Dropppin, only to now find out that support and development have been completely discontinued. It is incredibly frustrating that we now have to look for an alternative solution because Dropppin failed to fulfill its commitments. This situation could have been avoided if there had been clear communication about the status of the project. I cannot recommend Dropppin at all.

Lesson learned. Never depend on amateur projects.

I was having problems with me setup but the team jumped in and got me up and running.
Loving the product and can see the growth.
