Q: Had asked about the team function before and tried it now, but somehow it doesn't work at all - what am I doing wrong?

I have done the following:
- created a new account on dubverse (Free Account, currently Pro Trial)
- created a folder in the main account
- moved some videos into this folder
- used the "share folder" function and entered the mail address of the new account

The following problems:
- in the main account I can't see that I shared the folder with someone else
- in the main account I can't undo this sharing either
- the new account does not receive a message about sharing the folder
- the folder is not visible in the new account

Do you have any idea?

We are glad to see you use our Share functionality. Let's help you get the most out of it:

You did the following:
- "created a new account on dubverse (Free Account, currently Pro Trial)" - perfect! That's the best way to start on your multilingual journey!
- "created a folder in the main account" - yup, all correct
- "moved some videos into this folder" - brilliant!
- "used the "share folder" function and entered the mail address of the new account" - yes, so far, so good!

The following problems:
- "in the main account I can't see that I shared the folder with someone else" - Please proceed as follows:
A) Please open the folder.
B) On the menu next to the header of the folder (represented by three dots next to Dubverse.ai/ <folder name>', click on Share Folder.
C) In the bottom half of the popup that appears, you will see 'Shared with' followed by the email ID's you have shared with.

- "in the main account I can't undo this sharing either" - Ah yes! If you have given folder access to someone who should not have access, you will need to move the projects elsewhere that they don't have access to. We would love to understand the use case here. Does this happen often or just to cover for an accidental share?

- "the new account does not receive a message about sharing the folder" - they should receive an email. Please let us know in case that did not happen.

- "the folder is not visible in the new account" - Could you please ensure that the person who the folder was shared with, has an active account on Dubverse? We do not enable folder sharing for non-Dubverse users so you can collaborate in a safe space.
The recipient should be able to see it on the left panel, under the header 'Shared Folders'.

did everything again, created a new account, created a new folder, put a video in it, shared the folder ... and the result is the same:

- click on "Share Folder" again - there is no lower part of the popup, I can only enter a mail address there
- accordingly nothing else happens: no mail, no area for shared folders

My question: is it maybe because of the new accounts - is Free Account not enough here and it must be an active Pro Account?

Regarding your question about revoking the share: Ultimately, it's about cleanup - if someone leaves the team, I want to be able to revoke the share. But basically these features are natural for me: if I can create a folder, I want to be able to delete it, if I can create a share, I want to be able to revoke it ... and of course I want to be able to delete a video if I created one - the way via archives is not really an option :))

By the way, when I currently select "Archive", the entire menu on the left disappears - you only see the right pane with folder contents and the videos. You can get back via Home (the house icon), but apparently the menu tree there got lost when this was shipped.

Please see responses below. Our recommendation would be to reach out Customer support via chat and get on a quick screenshare with them.

A: Gotcha. That means the folder was not shared with anyone.

A: Same. It means the 'Share' didn't happen.

A: No, Trial users also have 'Share' privileges.

A: Good catch! That shouldn't happen. We will fix it.

Hi Kalpana,

this is just as a stand for other sumolings:
- we moved the discussion to Mail, since there were a number of account data to match after all
- the problem is probably firefox

Have now solved the team problem by buying several T1s here.

There will probably be an update note from dubverse about this and it will show up in the changelog.

The issue here is already wandering out of focus (masses of new issues coming in now), so a new status here will do little in terms of perception anyway.
