Saving Time on LinkedIn Without Losing Your Voice
I started testing Dynal.ai from the lowest AppSumo tier - and that turned out to be a smart move to see whether the tool actually adds value to my daily LinkedIn workflow.
One big advantage: the ability to define my writing style and my brand’s DNA. That makes a real difference because the generated content doesn’t sound “AI-like,” but much closer to something I would write myself. When you publish regularly, that’s a significant time saver -especially when you have plenty of ideas but limited time to develop them.
I also like the product direction - combining a content generator with a planner and scheduling capabilities. It simplifies the entire process: from idea to publication.
That said, there were some initial challenges. At first, credits were used up quite quickly because the default format was a carousel. I reported this, and fortunately, an option to generate single images was added. Thanks to that, I managed to develop a more minimalist visual style that complements my posts rather than overpowering them.
As for performance - initially, I expected higher reach. Over time, though, I realized this isn’t necessarily the tool’s fault. The LinkedIn algorithm changes so frequently that impressions aren’t always a reliable measure of content quality.
Dynal.ai does what I expected it to do: it helps me create and publish content faster and more consistently.
At the same time, there’s still room for improvement - especially in the projects section. With a larger number of projects, it becomes less intuitive, and it’s easy to lose track of what’s already been published versus what’s still in draft.
Eventually, I upgraded to the highest plan. I see it as an investment in consistency and quality of my LinkedIn communication - with the expectation that the product will continue to evolve.
If you’re creating content regularly and want to do it faster without losing your voice - it’s definitely worth testing.

Useful as I manage my own and business partner
I run my own LinkedIn, and my business partner, who is also a New York Times bestselling author and world-renowned motivational speaker. The fact that I get to write in both his voice and be able to post to his LinkedIn, but then also write my own voice (which is completely different than his) and post in mine, has been incredibly valuable.
So far, the outputs have been great, very on par with who we are! I am not at all upset by the images that it generates when I ask for a single image or a carousel image for the post.
I have found it easier to post and schedule to my LinkedIn, which is one of the content social platforms that we have been focusing on since the beginning of this year. This has definitely helped us boost our engagement and posting!

Very good, but so many bugs that slow you down and therefore corrode the very value it means to provide
Overall, great tool but many big bugs that reduce the actual reason why you use this, which is to save time. It will actually require more time. A LOT more. Creating the ICP has been an absolute pain in the neck. The ICPs aren't being saved, and I don't know how to finish them because there is no clear, verifiable section that needs to be completed. The copy isn't saved after it's updated, and there are many other issues across numerous dimensions.

Good Product But Forced Dynal AI Watermark on all Images
Dynal AI is a high-potential product, and I give a thumbs-up to the team for its high-quality output. However, I was surprised by recent changes that removed certain features, such as the ability to disable “Made with Dynal AI.” The Dynal AI branding now appears on all my scheduled post images, with no way to disable it (the remove watermark checkbox used to be there under the image - See Kenneth Fong's walk through). This is a major drawback, and I had to disable all my scheduled posts because I don’t want Dynal AI branding at the bottom of every image. Please fix this ASAP. Any future critical changes like this one has to be carefully tested.
The Dynal team has also made some dashboard UI changes that removed information such as credit consumption per project. Greater transparency in credit usage is important, especially since Dynal AI consumes credits quite aggressively.

We understand why the temporary removal of that option was frustrating. We briefly removed the Remove Watermark option to help avoid situations where the watermark might remain on an image if the option was missed or left unchecked.
However, some users had already scheduled posts with that setting...
