What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?
Before Easify, we were in the trenches ourselves—running high-volume marketing campaigns, managing sales teams, and trying to scale businesses in fast-paced, highly regulated industries. Like many of you, we struggled with juggling too many platforms that didn’t talk to each other, weren’t built for our industry, or straight up couldn’t keep up. So, we decided to scratch our own itch. One of our biggest ventures was launching The Merchant Marketplace, which I co-founded alongside Kevin Harrington from Shark Tank. It’s the first and only peer-to-peer revenue-based funding platform in the industry. We built it to disrupt traditional merchant cash advance models, giving investors and businesses a smarter, more transparent way to fund and get funded. But we quickly hit a wall—how do we manage all our outreach, lead follow-ups, phone calls, SMS, voicemails, and email campaigns... without duct-taping five different tools together? That mess of software was holding us back. So we built our own. That’s how Easify was born. It wasn’t an overnight win. We went through a lot of trial and error—especially as laws around SMS (like the 10DLC changes in early 2024) started squeezing out entire industries. A lot of platforms gave up. We didn’t. Instead, we created one of the only compliant onboarding solutions that works across all industries, including “high-risk” verticals. That challenge became our greatest success. What started as a tool to solve our own marketing pain has turned into a platform that empowers thousands of businesses across every sector. We’ve had wins, failures, and a ton of pivots—but every step has made Easify what it is today: a powerful, flexible, and inclusive platform built by marketers, for marketers.

The idea for Easify wasn’t born in a boardroom—it was born out of real frustration. As entrepreneurs building high-growth businesses like The Merchant Marketplace, we were drowning in tools. One app for SMS, another for email, one for calls, another for CRM—it was chaos. We weren’t scaling efficiently. We weren’t converting leads like we should. And we definitely weren’t giving our team the tools they needed to succeed. We needed one place to manage it all. So we built it. Easify started as an internal solution—a secret weapon to run our own campaigns smarter and faster. But as we grew, we realized we weren’t the only ones dealing with this problem. Thousands of entrepreneurs, marketers, and small businesses were facing the same thing. And here’s where the passion kicked in: When the 10DLC laws changed, entire industries were shut out of SMS. High-risk or not, these were real businesses with real customers—and no good way to communicate. Most platforms turned their backs. We said: No way. We doubled down.
