Too much promised
Three taco's, that's it. For me the least I ever gave on a AppSumo deal. Think the team is okay and responding. But the deal is not. What is promised on the deal page is:
In-App Messaging
Detail Analytics
Custom Domain
Smart Workflow
Personality Test - But trying to use this option they are really hard to find, documentation is lacking or the option is not present at all but on a roadmap.... No I did not get a Custom Domain option and for the Personality test I will need to wait half a year from now if I trust the roadmap. But how to trust this roadmap if this deal description is not trustworthy.
At the moment this is a very basic application which could be built by some of my students (Highschool). Not very impressive. Think they are offering this too early. Will see......

May 9, 2024Hello Meindert Jorna,
Sorry for the trouble you’d faced.
You had a few queries about different features. Few of the features are already have inside the system and few of them are inside the roadmap. But you’re correct, for lack of documentation it’s tough for someone new, we’re working to improve the documentation, to prepare a case-study type feature description.
A very basic clarification about those points you’d mentioned, such as:
In-app messaging: We have a first version of the conversation, where company can communicate with the candidate, can attach the document (can be used as a real test): https://prnt.sc/q7s2u2 (screenshot) We’ll continue improving this messaging feature
Details analytics: A basic analytics we already have & we’re working for the improved version of the analytics, and we’ll notify you.
Custom Domain: We’re expecting to release the custom domain settings features within this 20th December.
Smart Workflow: We have the pipeline feature to manage the stage-wise candidate, easily: https://www.loom.com/share/a4dbd11a56a44b6a8a8b7921b98a7a54 We’re also working to make this pipeline re-usable. So, if you have multiple jobs then don’t need to create the pipeline every time. Btw, by default, you’ll have ‘Applied’ stage/pipeline when you create any job.
Embed anything in a website: We have a few options to embed EasyJobs with your website
1) You can tell user/candidate to go to easy.job/yourCompany
2) If you have a WordPress site, then you can set-up the EasyJobs into your website using EasyJobs plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easyjobs/ i.e. yourdomain.com/jobs, so candidate can find the job list from your site.
3) (upcoming within 20th December 2019) You'll be able to mask CNAME using our custom domain settings, that way EasyJobs will be loaded inside your subdomain, i.e. jobs.yourDomain.com, so again candidate will be able to find jobs inside your domain.
500 server error trying to create a new job: Solved already
The phone number may not be greater than 20: Solved already
Exam/Degree Title: Now possible to add custom exam/degree title: https://prnt.sc/q7s60o (screenshot)
Disable certain field: We’re going to release another updated regarding the ‘Manage fields’ issues by this week, after that you’ll be able to manage the field visibilities. You can track the changelog anytime: https://easy.jobs/changelog/
Translation: We’re working with the translation, by 20th December, we’re expecting to release the translation features. You can track the roadmap also: http://easy.jobs/go/roadmap
