A real gem waiting to be polished

I compared a few different project management tools found here on Appsumo to replace my current use needs at small-scale software development for multiple small projects. I currently use Trello and I've felt Jira would be an overkill for my needs, I haven't tried out Asana, Wrike, Monday or such so can't compare to them. But for my purposes this was the BEST out of about three tools currently available here at Appsumo.

Easynote seems to be focusing mostly on the right things for me and it contains similar functions to Trello's kanban plus a ton of available customizations. I really love the customization part of the tables because each project and use case really is unique.

There are still some parts I would like to see polished up even on the task management and Kanban, there are a few things for example Trello does more fluently. I'd like to see things on the tasks and Kanban such as:

- Copy-pasting task urls
- Using markup on cards for faster typing
- Subtasks (now there are "Subtasks" but they are not really proper subtasks with title, description, assignee, instead they are just checklists)
- Polishing the kanban view - currently the cards are exploded open with all their description content making the view cluttered after a few cards are inserted. And in my projects there are often many in making or review and possibly hundreds in backlog or ready.

Yet, despite these polishing needs I think this deal is a steal. This also allows to do some things I've been waiting, such as adding dependencies to cards.

I also tested the onboarding for an invited member which is important to me and it was really good!

Easynote seems to be very powerful tool and I cant wait to see where it evolves. I bought it because its current state shows that a lot of effort has already been put there - showing that there is a real interest and passion to continue building it - and the direction is correct.

As a customer I hope they polish the current features before growing a ton of functionality. In my opinion its more important to be best in a few things than average on a hundred. That way you can be a prospecting king of a niche instead of a runner up far beyond for large audience. The latter usually isn't a good option because everybody picks the best solution for their needs and not the third best.

As a final note I want to thank Mensur for helping me out with my registration. I had some issues with it and within minutes in middle of the weekend Mensur was available to help me out. Big thanks for that!

Now go grab some codes while the deal is still available!
