User interface looks nice and the app seems laid out well and very approachable. I like the task list and kanban board display of tasks. I like the feature of unlimited docs and online editor. Based on the options on the doc toolbar, the docs are saved as HTML, which is good. However the menu in the editor provides very limited formatted options. You can add headings but you can't seem to adjust body text size. You can insert links and media, but you can't seem to insert lists or tables, for instance. So docs is to limiting to be useful except for very basic notes.
I tried the 'Story' option, but the alert said the camera was loading, but it never loaded, so I couldn't test that. Camera loaded fine in the Meetings section. For files, I tried to upload a file: a 2.5 GB MP4 as a test. The file appeared momentarily in the list and then disappeared. A brief alert stating 'removed.' The file listing shows name of file and name of the person that uploaded, but not the actual file date nor size. Didn't see any way to add these fields. I uploaded a smaller test .dmg file and it uploaded. File size limit? If so, this is not unlimited storage. This isn't an issue with an Appsumo competitor, NOYSI. Most modern platforms let you drag a file and drop a file into a file upload area, but with this tool, you have to click upload and locate the file in your filesystem. I also purchased two codes, on impulse to start, as it seemed like a good deal. I was able to redeem one, but once in the platform, couldn't see how to add the other code to increase team limits. I submitted a support request for that and so far, no reply. Bottom line, I think the UI and framework is there, but the features seem rudimentary and not nearly as full featured as some competitors, unfortunately. The claim of unlimited files is misleading as there are obviously some limits. likely individual file size limit and some features, like Story, didn't work for me. Hopefully this becomes more powerful and robust in the future, but I may have to take a pass on this for this go round.
