Major Flaws in Edworking
I am using Edworking with my team of 50+ employees, and I want to highlight any significant errors.
1. Most of the time, when you send an email invitation to join your workspace, they do not receive any invitation email. I always have to send them an invitation link.
2. After they get the invitation link and create their account, sometimes they automatically get kicked out of the space.
3. Desktop notifications do not work. I have complained about this issue many times, but the support team often responds late or not at all. We only receive the sound, but no notification appears in the bottom right corner, just like we do in Rocket Chat or WhatsApp.
4. There are no controls or roles specified, meaning Admin and members have equal rights. Anyone can send an invitation to join your workspace, and anyone can remove someone from the space.
5. Sometimes you can see people in SPACE who you have already kicked out of your Workspace.
Overall, I would say they need many improvements. I would recommend not buying this product until they resolve the desktop notification issue otherwise you will not know if anyone is messaging you.

Sep 9, 2025We’re sorry for your experience. We’re aware of these issues and decided to rebuild the system on a new architecture to ensure scalability. This work has been ongoing since February last year, and if everything goes as planned, the update will be available to all users this weekend.
The new version covers everything except the admin controls, which are still in progress. We hope you’ll consider updating your review once you try the improved Edworking :)
