Q: Can I create one-time scannable QR codes?
I'm creating a marketing campaign that will give discount codes to some of my customers that fulfill certain requirements. The idea is that they receive a physical coupon with a discount code. This physical coupon will have a QR code that has to be scaned to apply the discount.
Now, I would like to prevent my customers from using the same coupon more than once. Is there a way to prevent my customers to scan the QR code more than once?
It would be also helpful if the first time a QR code is scanned the user goes to one page, and the next time they scan it they go to a different URL. Do you have this feature?

RoadspillFYI, I'm not sure this is something that should be included in the QR Generator SaaS app as most E-Commerce systems give you the ability to set a coupon for a single use.
I would think that you would be better off finding something either built in to your ecommerce solution, or maybe a free/paid plugin that can verify the coupon is still active and add it to the checkout, or if it's used, it will redirect you to a page that says, "Sorry but this coupon has expired, you can go >>here<< to get a 5%." or something like that.

The ability for one time use? I just purchased but I didn't see any documentation on the coupon feature--maybe I missed it. I see the coupon option in the app but there's nothing in the knowledge base on it.
To enable a one-time scan, set the scan limit to 1 in the 'Stats' tab when creating a QR code. This will make it function as a single-use scan. For more details, please contact our support team at hello@elkqr.com.

Wondering if ability to have a QR code that downloads a different one time use coupon code to the persons phone to use at a later date. Thought a coupon in a printed publication- QR code— people scan that to get a one time use coupon?
