Does AppSumo team try those products before trying to sell them to us?
As I saw in another review, They had only one job to do!!
The basic reason someone uses software like this is that they trust its high-accuracy, precise results.
If this is not the case for you, you don't need to pay; you can "Validate" your list for free.
I uploaded my list of 621000 emails. It took about a day to be completed — when they said that the validation process takes between 30 min. - 2 hours.
I mean, it's okay things like this happen sometimes; I can wait a little longer as far they do what they promised to do.
The "validation" was completed in about 18 hours or something, but still, I was excited to see the results.
I tried to download the list in an excel file, but I got an error every time I used this option, so I finally used the option to download the list in CSV.
*Still excited, but also cautious after all that*
I opened the list, and it included only 37,901 results (while it should contain 621,000 records, like the original list I uploaded in the first place).
I mean, that's a disaster...
After that, I gave them a second chance because it seemed unfair to ask for a refund judging only from one try.
They said that they would fix the issue within 24 hours, I uploaded my list again, but nothing changed.
I faced once again the same technical issues and bad behavior from the support (like complaining, they read my message and never respond back).
They also have my list now. 620k emails are worth at least $50k if I was about to give it to someone!!
I had one of the worst experiences with a purchase in my life. I'm asking for a refund, but how can they refund the time I lost and peace of mind, or be sure that they didn’t also get my list?
I just spent 25 minutes writing this review to help you decide when considering buying this product. This was my personal experience.
I wish I could upload screenshots with this review that prove that this Appsumo deal is a joke (validation progress bars at 106%, graphs displaying out 620k emails 99% as disposable).
I'm just wondering, does the Appsumo team try those products before trying to convince us that they would benefit us?
