First impressions.

Appsumo is a big fan of taking down my reviews, so I wonder if this is a waste of my time or not, but Email Sequences seems pretty good so far.

I have used email programs in the past but I would say I am not proficient at them at all. What I like already about this program is that you do not get hung up on one step or another, if you are not ready for a step, you can move ahead and complete it later. So many programs just shut you down when you are "bonding" with it, but making you stop if you can't complete a step.

There are a lot of templates to use to get started on your campaign. The AI is a little wonky for email creation, but I might be getting it wrong. If I am, that is on me, but that also means it is not super intuitive. It looks like it only helps you generate the subject lines and not the email itself...but again, I am not sure if it is user error or not.

So far, I like it. I am still getting to know it though. One thing I would change now is that there is no feedback for the email checker. I fed Email Sequences, my email list and it tells me that most are good, some are risky, and others are bad. I have no idea why this is.

I am a big fan of knowing "why" something is risky or bad. The list is previous clients from a few years ago, so I would love to know why they are risky or bad leads before simply throwing them away. Am I leaving them off the table for a good reason?

If I used the "risky" ones, will it have any repercussions? I would love to know what the criteria is or some reasonable recommendation as to how to proceed. The short explanation is that some "may bounce" or "will likely bounce". I guess that will reflect badly on my email "reputation", and that I might be listed as a spammer or something like that, but these are old clients emails, who are pretty friendly or at least neutral, so I would love to know WHY?

One thing I was pretty happy about is that it can find you emails for certain high profile people and rates them for how likely it is to be a real email that works (out of 100).

Anyway, like I said, I am not proficient with email software. I would like the AI to be a little more clear, but I admittedly have not done any training on this. Everything else has a nice flow, it looks good, and looks like it will do what I want it to do. So this is a preliminary review, but so far so good.
