false results
The results from this tool are different every time you run it.
It also gives me results which I know work, but it says they are invalid.
I don't see the point of a solution which gives you false positives and false negatives. I've spoken to their support who were very helpful, and they explained why this happens, but what is the point if the data isn't valid?

After discussing with our support team, I see why the verification process left you feeling dissatisfied. However, it's important to note that this challenge isn't unique to BrandNav; it's common across all email verification tools.
Sometimes, the emails we ping are temporarily unavailable, particularly with lower-end ESPs, and we might not receive an immediate response. In such cases, the system may mistakenly flag these emails as invalid. Unfortunately, email verification tools don’t have full control over this.
I encourage you to backtest this yourself by verifying a list of invalids or catch-all emails you got from the most accurate verifier you know & verify the same with BrandNav. You’ll likely find that BrandNav identifies valid emails even from lists marked as invalid or catch-all by others.
This process, known as waterfall verification, accounts for those moments when we can’t verify an email immediately, but it becomes verifiable later.
Regardless of this, your invalid emails will never be marked as valid by our system, so they do not contribute to your bounce rates.
