RoadspillQ: Within my business, I hire VA's periodically for short periods of time when we get too busy to support the workload that comes in.
So they do come and go throughout the year.
If I built signatures for the people I hire and they import them via HTML, what happens when their term is up and I delete the active signature? Does it stop functioning? Does it continue to work and lose some functionality? Does it not impact it at all?

If you remove a signature from a user's signature page in Gmail, including an EmailBadge signature, it stops being sent as part of new emails for that user.
It should not impact emails that were previously sent with a signature, as those emails were sent with the signature in place at that time. In part, this is a big reason why we don't use "dynamic" signatures... they can break over time, and there are concerns with deliverability. We use static signatures which solve both of these issues.
