Every time I wake up to discover a new Originals product on AppSumo (which seems to be more and more often) I am super excited. I know that I am about to get a tool I probably would have paid $49 or $100 or $150 if it hadn't been an Original.

The Original products just work. Software that does what it says it's going to do? Check. Beautiful interface? Always. Solves a problem that I need solved. It's like the Originals team has a mind-reader on staff. Price point so low that it feels absurd. Oh yeah!

When I first read the critiques about branding on the emails, I was expecting a big, obnoxious logo and I was a bit sad. I definitely don't want to be promoting other products in email where I am working hard to promote myself. But I loaded it up to see for myself, sent an email with the signature I made (which took me like 5 minutes. Yeah!) and the branding is miniscule. It is just the initials "EB" in light gray way below my sig. If 1 out of 100 of my email recipients even notice it, I'm inviting them over next time I lose my car keys... I just don't think anyone is going to look so carefully to even see it. Having said that, I still hope that at some point higher Tiers are offered with no branding.

I am really excited to see where the Originals takes this. Every product they put out, they seem to roll out updates 24/7. I am sure they are going to add features at a breakneck pace, while I sit back and let them make me look good (like SleekBio!)

One final thought is that my email patterns probably follow Pareto principle: 80% of my emails go to the exact same people. I've always wondered if they feel annoyed seeing the same sig at the bottom of every single one of my emails. EmailBadge makes swapping out signatures so easy that I'm thinking I can change it with enough frequency that it stays fresh. Very cool. Super excited to have this in my toolkit and blown away by the pricing.
