Q: For a complete beginner, could you please explain why I would choose for your software?
As if I understand it correctly, I still have to integrate it with Mailgun and pay Mailgun for sending the emails. So what does your software do?

Jun 27, 2024A: When you use an ESP, typically the service being provided is really only their email marketing software, which is connected to something like Mailgun, SparkPost, or Amazon SES who does the actual email delivery.
Conversely, without the ESP's software those 3 examples don't do anything on their own, Mailgun just gives you an API, it doesn't give you any software to actually send email marketing campaigns, manage contact lists, connect a form to your website, etc.
Our software gives you the ESP. When you use an ESP as a customer, you're doing the same thing this platform does, only you're doing it as the customer instead of as the owner of the ESP.
That's it in a nutshell.
Thanks for your reply! So if I understand it correctly, for transactinal email your software doesn't give me an advantage over using Mailgun's SMTP directly; just when already using a tool like FluentCRM. It's 'just' a replacement of Mailchimp/Vbout/etc.
Is that correct?

If you run your Mailgun account as an SMTP Relay through us, and you run the same Mailgun account as an SMTP Relay through some other application, if the setup for both is identical, and nothing is misconfigured or otherwise wrong/busted, you will probably get the same deliverability through that account acting as the Mailgun Relay yes.
